When I returned to the room, the laughter of the four people in the room stopped abruptly.
Everyone looked at me like they were looking at a pesky looter.
Dragging my cold body and heavy steps, I turned and went upstairs.
“Oh, why is my bracelet gone? Did I just drop it in the pool?” Sienna suddenly shouted.
I sensed that she might be coming for me, speeding up my pace in an attempt to escape from view.
But Father Thorne did not let me go:“Nancy, you stop! Did you throw Sienna’s bracelet into the pool?”
I turned my head and frailty replied, “Not me, I didn’t push her or throw her bracelet.”
I have only been getting better from a fever, and so struggling in the water for a long time, I feel that I have been faint.
“I clearly saw you grabbing Sienna’s arm and trying to push her into the water, and you still have the nerve to argue!”
Mother Thorne’s shrill voice echoed throughout the villa.
Meanwhile, Sienna Thorne was leaning against Sean Drake’s shoulder, pathetically wiping her tears,
“If it is an ordinary bracelet, it is even worth it, but it was given to me by my parents. In those years when I was abducted, I relied on this bracelet to support me. I just wanted to see my parents again in my lifetime.”

He turned and fetched a diving mask and handed it to me.“Put this on and go to the pool to find Sienna’s bracelet.”
When I shook my head, his tone hardened:“You owe it to Sienna!”
Eventually, Sean Drake forcibly put an oxygen mask on me, and Mr. Thorne pushed me under the water without hesitation.
The four of them stood on the bank, laughing and joking, urging me not to be lazy.
If he saw my movement slow for a moment, Mr. Thorne would grab a long pole and hit it straight out of the water.
I dared not look up again, so I could only lie down in the water and feel my way around the pool bit by bit.
It was getting dark, the water temperature dropped, my vision was gradually blocked, and my movements became slow.
When I put my head out of the water to breathe, I heard Sean Drake’s voice.
“Without that bracelet, Sienna can’t sleep at ease, you don’t want to deliberately delay the time, can’t find the bracelet, you don’t need to come up!”
I sank to the bottom of the pool in despair.
After a good five hours of rummaging, I finally found Sienna’s bracelet in the gap of the drain.
With the bracelet in my hand, I struggled to get to the shore and lay down on the edge of the pool, without any energy.
A few people came around, took the bracelet in my hand, disdain looked at my embarrassed appearance.
Sienna Thorne took the arm of Mr. Thorne and Ms. Thorne, walking away without turning back.
Sean Drake dropped a “good for themselves“, turning to catch up with Sienna Thorne, no looking back.
I lay cold by the pool, listening to their laughter gradually away, completely lost consciousness.
