Sean Drake’s tourist visa will expire soon.
The day before he went back, he went to Griffin family’s manor, hoping I could see him
again.
A thunderstorm was coming with a strong wind.
I stood at the window, watching the heavy rain in the dark night.
Dariel handed me a glass of red wine. I sipped.
Another flash of lightning fell, lighting up half the night sky.
My heart tightened.“Is he not gone yet?”
Dariel shook his head: “No, he kept saying he wants to see you again, but it doesn’t work.”
I curled my lips, feeling a little ironic.
At first, he had shut me out in order to get me to agree to give up my place in the study to Sienna Thorne.
Now, everything has turned upside down.

“Is this because of love, or because of unwillingness?”
‘I muttered, not sure whether I was asking myself or Dariel.
Dariel laughed sarcastically.“No matter why, he did it to himself!”
I closed my eyes and waved at him.“Get rid of him. I won’t see him.”
The black Rolls–Royce drove out of the manor and stopped in front of Sean Drake.
His brand new suit was soaked and he looked discomfited.
The car door opened and he took two steps forward, clutching his stiff limbs.
The smile he managed to force stiffened on his face when he saw Dariel.
“Where’s Nancy?”
He couldn’t believe I was so cruel that I wouldn’t even meet him.
‘Go away. She won’t see you.‘ Dariel’s voice was cool.
The man who had been standing upright for the last few hours suddenly softened his spine and stumbled two steps.
“Why, won’t you even give me a chance?”
His voice could not be more hoarse.
“Did you not have a little tenderness when you shut her out and forced her to submit?” Dariel sneered.
Another flash of lightning fell, and Sean’s body shook twice.
Dariel Griffin had no sympathy for the embarrassed man in front of him.
“If you don’t leave now, I will make it impossible for you to come to Canada.”
With those words, Rolls–Royce turned back and walked into the estate.
Sean finally could not support, holding the tree beside him, slowly soft down.
Rain mixed with tears, he tasted salty taste, his heart was a suffocating pain.
At that moment he finally realized that his Nancy, it seemed, would never forgive him…….
At the same time, on the other side of the earth, the Thorne family villa, also ushered in wind and rain.
While Mr. Thorne, Ms. Thorne and John Thorne were busy dealing with the crisis facing their company, two middle–aged men in plain clothes enter the Thorne family villa.
