The number of customers that night was significantly higher. Celica was so busy that she couldn’t even catch her breath. Just when she finally had a moment to go to the locker room and get some water, someone
entered.
Yana hurriedly approached Celica, as if Celica was her only hope in a dire situation. “Celica, you have to help me out here.”
Celica was taken aback, confusion evident in her eyes. “What’s wrong. Yana?”
Yana wasted no time beating around the bush. “It’s an emergency. Put on a mask and go on stage. I need you to pretend to be Phoecock and dance for the patrons.”
Celica was shocked by the request and thought, She wants me to replace Phoecock? The famous dancer? Shaking her head, she hesitated. “I can’t. I’ve only attended a few dance classes. I can’t compare to the famous Phoccock. The moment I start dancing, everyone will know I’m not her. She mused. If the Snowwolf Pack members find out I’m dancing on stage, there is no way they’ll let me live to see the dawning sun.
Yana quickly dismissed her concerns. “You just need to fill in for a moment. The lights are dim, and there are strobe lights too. No one will notice.”
Phoecock had fallen ill due to food poisoning earlier and had been rushed to the hospital for emergency
treatment.
Celica still appeared troubled. “I can’t do this.”
