When Celica’s design was displayed, her fellow interns and colleagues were initially shocked and then
envious.
The officially hired designers were also curious and came to see. The design was creative and had a feminine style, but it didn’t completely align with the company’s aesthetic.
For a newcomer, it was quite impressive.
Celica stood in the crowd. Instead of receiving applause, she received a few meaningful glances. It was evident that the team leader displaying her design on the bulletin board wasn’t a good sign.
She had made an impression among her fellow interns, and her peers considered her their biggest competition.
During her first week at work, Celica was busy every day. Surprisingly, Nathaniel didn’t visit her at all.
As morning approached, Celica rushed toward the elevator with a newly purchased carton of milk, calling out, “Wait for me!”
If she didn’t take this elevator, she would be late for work.
Another intern who worked alongside her was standing at the elevator doors. When she saw Celica approaching, she reached out to press the close button.
The elevator doors slowly closed, leaving Celica disappointed as she slowed down her steps.
“She’s targeting you!” Celica’s inner wolf roared angrily. “We should confront her!”
“It’s fine. I’ll prove my worth through my actions.”
Their supervisors were extremely strict about punctuality, and being late on their team was a serious offense. Two instances of tardiness would result in a deduction from their bonuses.
Biting onto her milk carton and mentally preparing herself for the next elevator, the doors that had just closed abruptly opened again.
“Are you coming in or not?” The man who opened the elevator raised an eyebrow slightly.
Celica was momentarily dazzled by the man with his tall figure, stylish British suit, and an air of noble Alpha.
She snapped back to her senses, feeling as if she had emerged from a deep abyss into the light, and quickly stepped into the elevator. “Thank you.”
The man glanced at the employee badge on her neck but didn’t reply. He simply let out a faint hum of acknowledgment.
Celica sneakily glanced at him. He was wearing a suit and had a badge from the second team’s leader. It turned out that he was Reagan Hull.
Celica had heard of his name even back in her school days, as he was a designer who had won many international awards.

She thought that today would be a good day. However, trouble suddenly arrived–her table was completely

All the documents she had just organized were ruined. It was evident that someone had intentionally caused this mew:
Her usually clear eyes turned sharp, and she confronted her office colleagues. “Who spilled my water?”
The people working in the office paused in their tasks. Seeing the young woman’s face turn bright red, they couldn’t help but secretly smile.
As Celica had anticipated, no one admitted to it. Her intention wasn’t to find out who did it but to send a warning, or else such incidents would continue.
Faced with the condescending looks from her colleagues, Celica didn’t back down. “Next time, I’ll be sure to get the security department to resolve the issue,”
The office fell silent, as no one had expected a young woman who had just entered the workforce to have this kind of confidence,
Normally, the new employees they bullied would suffer in silence. No one had ever stood up openly in defiance like Celica,
She went to the break room to calm herself, and when she returned to her workstation near the end of the workday, the office assistant, Jessie Yoke, approached her.
“The cleaning department is short–staffed. You need to clean the top–floor offices, Jessie ordered.
Weren’t you acting all cocky this morning? I’ll punish you by making you clean now. Let’s see if you still dare to challenge our authority!
Subjected to harassment once again, Celica put down her current work and calmly stated, “I am a design intern, not a cleaning intern. Please make that clear.”
Jessie had her responses ready; being an experienced staff member, she knew how to make life difficult for newcomers. “You don’t have any work right now. Should I make the working designers do it instead? Celica Savill, please follow the company’s instructions, or I will file a complaint against you.”
Celica realized that receiving a complaint when she was an intern would likely affect her future employment.
“I understand.”
And so, she left the office and went to the cleaning department to collect cleaning supplies. Then, she took
the elevator up to the top floor, where the CEO’s office was located.

A cleaning staff member had given her an access card. With that, Celica entered the CEO’s office with a
bucket of water.
The CEO’s office was rarely occupied and appeared meat, though it lacked some vibrancy. It felt cold, like an ice cellar.
Celica began cleaning, wiping every nook and cranny. On the right side of the room, there was a tall shelving unit, and she approached it with a cleaning cloth in hand.
At this moment, there came the overlapping sounds of three pairs of leather shoes in the hallway.
The office door swung open then. The man leading the way was Tony Hensley, dressed in an understated yet slightly extravagant red velvet suit. It exuded a cold yet captivating allure that suited his tall, lean frame perfectly.
His presence was unlike other Alphas. He had stylish platinum–gray short hair and sported trendy metal accessories, He appeared as if he had just come home after walking a fashion runway, radiating an irresistible charm.
As they entered the office, the three men took their seats on the couch. Tony placed this season’s performance report on the table. “In just half a month, our performance has already exceeded my seasonal target by 50 percent.”
It was an excellent result.
On the single couch, Nathaniel leaned back with his long legs crossed, one hand propping up his chin. His natural regal aura was overpowering.
He quirked a slight smile. “Spending your time on work instead of pursuing romantic interests has proven quite effective.”
His words prompted laughter from Jadon Huber, who was seated on the right. “You’ve suddenly improved. Must be your kidney acting up.”
He wore a tailored dress shirt with two buttons unbuttoned, revealing his sensual collarbone. It was paired with a black vest, which accentuated his golden inverted triangle physique.
A black earring adorned his earlobe as he entered the room, his gaze fixed downward as he adjusted his wristwatch. He emitted an air of elegance and sophistication.
Tony had the most extensive dating history among the three and was accustomed to playful banter. He proudly displayed his wolf claw, signaling to his friends not to doubt his physical prowess.
“My kidneys are perfectly healthy. I simply haven’t come across any new romantic interests lately!” he boasted, his expression conveying a sense of loneliness at the top.
He then turned to Nathaniel and playfully inquired, “Nathan, what brought you to the company all of a sudden? Is it because you heard about the abundance of models participating in the anniversary celebration, including Charlotte? Are you here to see her?”
Nathan? Charlotte?
Upon hearing this, Celica, who stood behind the tall counter, trembled, accidentally knocking over a crystal
ball.
With a resounding thud, it rolled and plummeted to the ground
