Chapter 5
Arriving in Lansborg, I walked on Lansborg Square where we used to walk together seven years
ago.
Back then, Zachary solemnly declared, “Stella, seven years later, I will come with you again to
fulfill our wishes.”
I jokingly said at that time, “Seven years is a long time. Are you sure?”
He nodded solemnly and said, “I am certain I will come here with you every seven years for the rest of my life.”
I didn’t expect that he didn’t keep his promise for the first seven years.
I looked up at the clear blue sky and said to myself, “Grandma, I’m here. Don’t be sad. Without Zachary, I can still live a very happy life on my own.”
Suddenly, my phone vibrated and I received a friend request on WhatsApp. Thinking it was
someone from Michael’s team, I agreed.
Before I could say hello, that person sent a photo.
In the photo, Zachary looked at the little boy in his arms with affection.
The little boy had a fever patch on his forehead. That was why he left in such a hurry.
I realized that it was Charlotte.
Then Charlotte sent a few more messages.
“Stella, you should know who I am. You see, Zachary really likes this boy!
“I know Zachary loves you very much, otherwise he wouldn’t have advised you to give up your job and open a flower shop to keep it from you.
“But one day you will also be a mother, and when you become a mother, you will understand me.
“Can you give my child’s father back to him?”
I moved my finger and replied, “I told Zachary I wanted a divorce.”
I loved doing makeup and was very passionate about my job. When I said I wanted to quit my job, Michael tried his best to persuade me to stay.
I always thought that Zachary made me quit my job because he was worried about my health. It turned out that it was because running a flower shop had a more fixed schedule. As a result, it was less likely for me to discover his affairs.

I stayed in Lansborg for ten days. During this period, Zachary sent me a lot of messages and made many phone calls, but I ignored them all.
Meanwhile, Charlotte kept sending me photos of Zachary and the child together.
She also sent me a video of her and Zachary’s wedding. He looked very unhappy, but I still found it
absurd.
After returning from Lansborg, there were only two days left before joining the crew.
I was not surprised to see Zachary at the airport. It was easy for him to find out about my
whereabouts.
“Stella, I’m sorry.”
I looked at him coldly and said, “You have done everything to hurt me, so what’s the point of saying
sorry?
“Did you bring the divorce agreement?”
My question made him swallow his words back.
At that moment, Michael called me, and I took a few steps to the side before answering it.
Zachary frowned and looked at me.
“Stella, send me your address. Someone will come to pick you up tomorrow morning at ten
o’clock.”
I hung up the phone and sent my address over.
“Stella, who is it?”
“A friend,” I said. Then I grabbed my luggage and was about to leave.
He grabbed my wrist tightly and said, “Tell me who it is. You never answer phone calls behind my back. Is it a man?”
Before going to Lansborg, I still held onto the last bit of nostalgia I once had with Zach
Now, he was just a stranger I used to know.
I forcefully shook off his hand and shouted, “You are so filthy. Do you think everyone is like you?”
I had never been so harsh to him before.
Zachary was momentarily stunned, and without saying a word, he pulled me into the car and took me to a hotel.

1 suddenly realized that, from the gate of the hotel to the banquet hall, there were many photos of our wedding and life over the past few years.
Zachary looked at me with bloodshot eyes and said, “Stella, because of the situation of my family before, I never gave you a proper wedding, How about I make up for you tomorrow?”
The wedding I had been longing for seven years finally came, but unfortunately, it was already too
late.
I smiled and replied, “Okay,”
The next morning, before Zachary came to pick me up, I boarded the plane to Kingsborg.
The plane flew toward the clouds, and my new life without Zachary began.
