Silhouette Studio was in total chaos. By the time Zayn found the studio head, the man–who looked to be in his thirties–had completely collapsed into a sobbing mess.
“Gone! It’s all gone!”
Zayn narrowed his eyes. “What do you mean gone? You literally texted me this morning saying the final cut was ready.”
The studio head looked up with red–rimmed eyes.
“It was ready! But an hour ago, every single computer got hit with a virus! All of our files–wiped! Now all that’s left is…” He pointed at the digital tombstone on the desktop, his hand trembling. His whole body looked like it might just give up on life.
Zayn hesitated. “So… our footage…”
The studio head let out a heartbroken sob. “It’s buried six feet under!”
At this point, he was practically a shell of a man.
Their studio wasn’t just working on Legacy of the Dynasty–they had at least seven or eight other major productions in post–production.
And because Silhouette Studio was known for high–end, premium editing, every project they handled was a big–budget production.
Now, thanks to the Grim Reaper Knocking on Doors Virus, everything was wiped off the face of the earth.
“You told me you had cybersecurity in place. So how the heck did this happen?” Zayn’s expression darkened.
Silhouette Studio had an in–house cybersecurity specialist–someone specifically hired to prevent leaks and hacker attacks on unreleased shows.
The studio head just sighed and pointed toward a guy hunched over a computer, looking like he was on the verge of a full mental collapse. Whatever virus had hit them, it had completely broken him.
“Mr. Zayn, I swear, if I could get your footage back, I would. But look around–your drama isn’t the only one. Everything is gone. I have no idea who to even complain to at this point.”
Zayn turned to Olivia.
“The preview cut is definitely gone. We’ll have to start over.”
Olivia’s expression froze.
Gone? The overpriced, ridiculously expensive edit I just paid for… disappeared into the void?
She glanced at the monitors, her eyes narrowing at the digital tombstones lined up across the screens.
In her past life, the Grim Reaper Knocking on Doors Virus had wiped out half of Cyperia’s networks the moment it appeared. The number of infected systems was immeasurable.

There’s nothing we can do about this virus. But if you can fix it? Forget the editing fee–I’ll refund you immediately! Hell, I’ll even pay you for bringing our files back! And anytime you need editing in the future, I’ll give you the biggest discount possible!”
He was only saying this to make it clear–they had no way out.
But then-
“You really mean that?” Olivia’s eyes sparkled.
The studio head hesitated. “What?”
“If I recover all your files, you’ll refund me, pay me extra, and give me a huge discount for future edits?” Olivia cut straight to the deal.
The studio head blinked in disbelief.
“… Yeah… yeah, if you can actually fix this, then whatever you say goes.”
