Stella had been handling this project for over a year, while Rosaline had only taken charge a week ago.
Was she really up to this?
Rosaline cleared her throat, a confident smile on her face as she began. “Now, I’ll walk you through the overall situation and progress of the Lady Couture’s project.”
With a pen in hand, she explained as she drew a detailed flowchart on the whiteboard, covering every aspect of the project.
Her speech was clear, structured, and casy to understand–leaving no room for confusion.
She wore a soft pink business suit–blouse on top, penell skirt on the bottom. The gentle lighting in the conference room highlighted her, making her appear both professional and graceful.
Her cherry–red lips spoke with such passion and fluency, once again tempting me to kiss them.
“Well, that’s my presentation. Any questions?” Rosaline finished, smiling and looking toward the table.
The others were still captivated, completely absorbed by her insightful explanation.
I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
She really pulled this off?
Her poised speech, that air of nobility, the way she carried herself with such elegance and confidence–it was as though she was some regal figure on a pedestal.
Wasn’t she from a small, rural place, Frostmoore?
How did this Omega learn to present like that?
Her eloquence was astounding!
It seemed like my supposed fiancée was far more impressive than I had initially thought.
“Mr. Holbrook, do you have any further questions?” Rosaline asked, her smile still warm and gracious.
I kept my focus on her, responding with just two words, “None.”
“Since there are no more questions, let’s have Winnie, the designer for this issue, present the specific designs, Rosaline said, sitting down and signaling Winnie to show the design sketches.
Winnie snapped out of her daze and spread out the sketches one by one, explaining them to me. “This issue’s theme is ‘Ice and Fire: We’ll be launching a collection of fine jewelry, including necklaces, rings, and bracelets. These are my designs.”
1 skimmed over the designs but wasn’t impressed.

I turned to Rosaline and asked. “Ms. Sinclair, what do you think?”

Her earlier performance had been so remarkable that was curious whether she had the design insight to back it up
Rosaline scanned the sketches, her brow furrowing slightly. She met my gaze thoughtfully before smirking slightly and speaking. “Lady Couture targets women of high society, aged 10 to 50, so our designs must reflect their refinement and grace. Winnie’s designs are well–drawn, but they’re cluttered, over–the–top. and lack of depth.”
I nodded slightly, but I could see Winnie’s face fall..
Rosaline wasn’t holding back and continued. “To put it simply, they’re too tacky. Designers must infuse their emotions into their work, giving it soul, making it something truly unique.”
As she spoke, Sabrina stood up, clearly displeased.
Though Winnie was the lead designer, Sabrina, as the head of the jewelry department, had also been involved in the process. Watching one of her designers be criticized so sharply, how could she remain quiet?
“Rosaline, you’re just a low–tier Omega. What do you know about design? How dare you speak so arrogantly in front of Mr. Holbrook? Do you have any idea how many late nights the team spent Who are you to call our work tacky?” Sabrina snapped.

this?
Rosaline chuckled coldly. “I might be an Omega, but my taste is no less refined than yours. Don’t you agree, Mr. Holbrook?”
Sabrina and Winnie both looked at me.
I met Rosaline’s eyes, nodding in agreement before answering. “The design is indeed tacky. Ms. Sinclair’s opinion is valid.”
Sabrina’s expression shifted instantly, her face darkening. She looked like she wanted to protest but was silenced by my cold stare, forcing her to sit down uncomfortably and say, “Well then, Mr. Holbrook, should we revise it?”
I nodded, and Sabrina forced a strained smile on her face as she turned to Winnie. “Next time, put more effort into it, alright?”
Winnie blushed and nodded.
“Next week, the Lady Couture’s team will be coming to Anshire, along with their CEO. We need to make sure we present the best possible version of this collection,” I said, glancing at Rosaline. “Feel free to ask Ms. Sinclair for advice–her taste aligns with mine.”
We… will do our best!” Sabrina said, reluctantly agreeing.
Then, I’ll leave it to you. “I raised an eyebrow, looking at Rosaline. “I’m counting on you, Ms. Sinclair.”
Rosaline’s POV:
I couldn’t help but feel a little perplexed. What did this have to do with me?
I wasn’t a designer, and I didn’t create these sketches.

As I gathered my things, preparing to head out, I suddenly heard Caden’s deep, commanding voice behind me, “Ms. Sinclair, could you stay for a moment?”
I was confused. What else could he want now that the meeting was over?
“What is the matter?” I asked, turning to face him.
Caden stepped closer, towering over ine, his gaze soft yet probing.
“Do you know anything about jewelry design?
“A little.” I smiled faintly.
In truth, fashion design was my true specialty, but jewelry design wasn’t much of a stretch for me.
“You have surprised me, Caden said, his curiosity growing in his eyes.
I shrugged and gave a small laugh, saying nothing.
Was he really that surprised?
If Caden knew the full extent of my other roles, he would probably be utterly shocked.
