After ten minutes, the woman in the cleaner’s uniform from the surveillance footage arrived at the entrance to the meeting room–it was Nancy.
“Come in. Nancy.” Rosaline said with a nod, gesturing for her
to enter.
Despite the hint of anxiety on her face, Nancy stepped aside with a determined stride.
As soon as Stella laid eyes on her, her complexion turned ashen.
“Nancy, did you switch the design drawings in my folder?” Rosaline asked in an even tone.
Nancy nodded slightly and admitted, “Yes,”
“Why did you do it?” Rosaline pressed, her tone calm bet firm.
Nancy dropped her gaze and replied, “Someone paid me 500,000 to replace your design drawings, Ms. Sinclair.”
Rosaline’s eyes narrowed as she scanned the room. “Five hundred thousand? And who gave you that money? Are they here in this meeting room?”
Nancy hesitated for only a moment before pointing directly at Stella. “Yes, it was her! Ms. Dixon instructed me to do it!”
“Don’t you dare pin this on me!” Stella shouted, her voice rising in panic. “Did Rosaline put you up to this? Yes, that’s it she must have told you to accuse me!”
Rosaline’s POV:
Stella’s frantic and desperate reaction made me chuckle quietly.
With her level of cunning, she really thought she could outsmart me?
Everything was unfolding just as I had anticipated.
After overhearing a phone conversation between Stella and Wendy in the restroom, where they conspired to target me, I had Anthony secretly monitor Stella’s calls.
Her plan was simple: secretly swap the design drawings for Ice and Fire, blame Caden for negligence, and use it as leverage to have me removed from Eclipse Group.
Stella had discovered that Nancy’s son was gravely ill and desperately needed money, so she used this to her advantage, bribing Nancy to swap the design drawings.
But I acted first, approaching Nancy in advance and arranging for a top doctor to treat her son. Overwhelmed with gratitude, she readily agreed to help me. I set a trap for Stella, instructing Nancy to feign acceptance of her bribe, pretending to go along with the plan while secretly collecting evidence.
It was a calculated strategy–a perfect move to lure the snake out of its hole and deliver a decisive blow.
“Did I ever ask you to accuse her?” I asked nonchalantly,

“I didn’t accuse you, Ms. Dixon,’ Nancy replied calmily lere’s the recording from the day you bribed me to switch the design drawings.” With that, she pulled a recording pen from her pocket, holding it up for
everyone to see.
Caden’s POV:
A subtle flicker of surprise crossed my usually composed face as I saw the recording pen.
I recognized it–it was the same one I’d seen in Rosaline’s room.
Had Rosaline given this pen to Nancy?
Which meant she had already known everything..
And now, with Nancy turning on Stella, was that part of Rosaline’s plan too?
This girl… she was far more cunning than I had imagined.
Nancy switched on the recording pen, and soon, the conversation between the two women played out loud for everyone to hear.
The voice from the recording pen clearly belonged to Stella. ‘Nancy, I’ve transferred 250,000 to your account, and I’ll give you another 250,000 once the job is done. With this money, you can afford the treatment for your son. I’m sure you want him to grow up healthy, don’t you?”
Nancy’s voice trembled with a mix of nervousness and excitement. “So much money… What do you want me to do?”
“It’s simple,” Stella’s voice continued in the recording. All you have to do is replace Rosaline’s documents.
“But… what if someone finds out?” Nancy’s voice wavered, a hint of doubt creeping in.
“Don’t worry.” Stella reassured her. “You can pretend to be cleaning when no one is around, and no one will suspect a thing.”
There was a small chuckle in her tone. “Besides, you only make 3,000 a month as a cleaner. How long would it take to earn 500,000 that way? Once it’s done, you can quit and hide out in the countryside for a while. After everything settles down, you can find another job. It’s the perfect solution, isn’t it?
Nancy, now fully convinced, responded eagerly. “Alright, I agree!”
Stella’s satisfaction was evident in her tone. “Good. I’ll let you know the exact time later. But remember, this is between you and me–no one else can know about it!”
Nancy quickly assured her, “Don’t worry, Ms. Dixon. I won’t tell anyone.
The recording cut off abruptly at that point.
Rosaline turned to Stella with a cold smile. “Well, Stella, do you have anything else to say?”

“We all heard it, and the voice is clearly yours, Rosaline replied calmly. She opened the computer, clic on an email, and added. “If you still insist that isn’t your voice, I have proof”
Rosaline enlarged the email on the screen, ensuring th everyone could see its contents clearly.
“This is the bank transfer record from Nancy’s account Rosaline said, her tone icy. “I had a friend check it, and the money came from an overseas account. The account holder is
She paused dramatically, her cold gaze locking onto Stella. “It’s your father, Jerry Dixon.”
Stella’s eyes bulged in shock as she shouted, “How did you find out about my father’s account?!”
Rosaline looked at her sternly and said, “With all the proof and witnesses, do you still believe I’m making this up?”
“No… this can’t be happening… “Stella’s voice shook, her eyes red and furious as she glared at Rosaline. “It’s you! It’s all because of you!”
In a sudden outburst, Stella lunged at Rosaline, raising her hand as if to strike her. “Rosaline, you vile woman! This is all your trap!”
“A trap?” Rosaline seized Stella’s raised hand, pushing her back with a smirk of disdain. “Stella, if you hadn’t schemed against me in the first place, how could I have caught you in the act? This is what you call shooting yourself in the fooL
Stella, you’ve been with the company for so long. Why would you do something like this?” I asked, my voice thick with disappointment.
“Mr. Holbrook, I… Stella trembled, her body shaking as she stammered, struggling to find the words.
I scanned the room, my gaze sharp, before speaking in a cold, firm tone. “Stella, you’re fired. Effective immediately, you are no longer part of Eclipse Group.
