When he saw her bleeding and injured, Ethan’s first words were not words of concern.
Instead, he said,“Did you know that you were wrong?”
Seeing her like this, even strangers walking by would’ve come to check on her.
But her own husband was just waiting for her to give in and apologize.
Stella couldn’t help but laugh.
Ethan frowned and asked, “What are you laughing at?”
Stella wiped the blood off her forehead, but the rotten vegetable leaves and the sticky egg goo on her made her look completely wrecked.

Stella wasn’t holding back anymore. She looked at Ethan in the car, expressionless, and said, “Is this how you make me regret? Having people cyber bully me, gathering a group of people to confront me, as an act of revenge for Kay?”
Ethan remained silent for a few seconds before saying, “You think I did all these things?”
“Didn’t you?” Stella smiled.“I had moved, even with doxing, there’s no way they’d have found me so fast. Who else could’ve tracked me down so quickly and accurately? So who else could it be? Didn’t you ask Cohen to send me a message, warning me that I’d regret it?”
She looked into Ethan’s eyes and said, “If you hate seeing Kaylyn being wronged, why don’t you get a divorce? That way, you two can be together openly.”
There was a trace of anger on Ethan’s face.
“Stella, I have explained many times, Kay and I are not what you think. Could you please stop causing trouble?”
Stella sneered, “If you
don’t divorce, then I’ll just continue causing trouble.”
Ethan’s eyes gradually turned cold and icy.
“So, you’re still going to be this stubborn?”
Stella answered, “Yes.”
Ethan got furious and laughed sarcastically.“Fine. I hope you will never have to ask me for anything.”
After saying that, Ethan drove off.

When Stella started seeing Ethan, Kaylyn and him had already broken up.

Stella quickly calmed down.“May I ask who the witness is?”
The officer shook his head.“I’m sorry, for the witness‘ safety, we cannot disclose any information at the moment. If you have any objections, you can contact a lawyer or call someone to arrange bail.”
The whole thing had happened so fast that Stella didn’t even have time to find a lawyer.
Brenden was still caught in the media frenzy, so she couldn’t go see him.
Carina was naive and no match for Ethan at all. If she said something wrong, it could turn against her, and she might even get caught up in this mess.

Lorenzo hesitated before adding, “Should I get someone to bail her out?”
Ethan looked at him and asked, “When did it happen?”
“This morning.”
Ethan glanced at his phone.
It was empty–no calls, not even a single text.
Since she would rather be chased and yelled at, stuck inside, than give in, it seemed she wasn’t
