Jasper, on the other hand, had handled the situation more carefully. He’d already deleted the photos from Lilian’s phone, so things should be fine now.
But I never expected Lilian to be such an obsessed fan of Jasper, sneaking around to take pictures of him.
1 just hoped she hadn’t seen me..
Lilian’s POV:
Leaving the cafe, I felt myself shaking.
I knew Rosaline was inside with my idol, Jasper, on a date.
If memory served, Rosaline was Caden’s fiancée!
How dare she go behind the back of Eclipse Pack’s Quasi–Alpha and meet my idol like that? It was beyond disrespectful.
She thought she could flirt with Jasper, but I wouldn’t let her get away with it.
The photos were deleted, but luckily, before that happened, a few blurry ones were left in the trash folder.
1 quickly recovered them. In the grainy shots, Rosaline’s face was faintly visible.
As long as I showed Caden these spicy bits, Rosaline’s done for.
I didn’t have Caden’s number, but I did have Wendy’s.
I could get Wendy to help me deal with that annoying Omega.
Back at Raymond’s birthday bash, Wendy had tried to sabotage Rosaline, intending to accuse her of stealing Wendy’s diamond ring so Caden would get rid of her. But Rosaline had easily shut down the whole scheme.
Wendy never got over that. She’d been bitter ever since, bringing it up over and over, vowing to get rid of Rosaline for good.
Today had been a coincidence. I stalked Jasper, hoping to get a few nice pictures of him, and ended up with something much more valuable.
If I told Wendy that Rosaline was secretly meeting Jasper behind Caden’s back, she would definitely reward me with more resources. That way, I could pursue Jasper without interference.
But why was Rosaline with Jasper?
And why was he holding her hand? They almost seemed like lovers.
Did Rosaline and Jasper have some hidden relationship?
Jasper, a top–tier Beta and movie star, could never be interested in an Omega like Rosaline, could he?

She must be using her looks to seduce him.
This is not your day, Rosaline. I’m about to smash it up
I grabbed my phone and quickly sent the sharpest photo I had to Wendy.

Caden’s POV:
When I woke up, Rosaline wasn’t in New Moon City
1 asked Willa, and she told me Rosaline made an early departure but didn’t mention where she went.
It struck me as odd. Was she working overtime?
I hurried through breakfast and drove to the office, but still didn’t see her.
I had someone check her attendance, and it turned out she hadn’t even shown up for work today.
Where had she gone?
I tried calling her, but her phone was off.
“Mr. Holbrook, the afternoon meeting is starting soon,” Yale reminded me.
“Understood,” I replied, heading to the meeting room to sit through the department reports.
The meeting dragged on. I sat at the head of the table, barely paying attention to the progress updates, my mind distracted, frustration mounting.
Suddenly, my phone buzzed. An anonymous message popped up. I opened it without much thought, and found a photo,
It was blurry, but I could make out a man and a woman. Despite the poor quality, I recognized the woman instantly. It was Rosaline.
The photo was taken today.
A heavy weight settled in my chest. I leaned in closer to my phone.
It was definitely her. The outfit, the way she carried herself–no mistaking it.
The man in the photo looked familiar too. It seemed to be Jasper.
Rosaline and Jasper?
Hadn’t she told me just yesterday there was nothing between her and Jasper, or Ryan?
Then why was she meeting him this morning?
And why did they look so comfortable together?
So, she had been lying to me!
Mutemmer flared. I stood shruntly leaving the room full of executives hehind and stormed out with a hand

I was about to send a message to the Beta, asking him to trace the location of the photo, when I saw a familiar face walking toward me.

The anger inside me boiled over. I crossed the room, blocked her path, and spoke in a cold tone, “Come with me
Rosaline’s POV:
I had just gotten to the office to work late, barely a few steps from the design department when Caden suddenly appeared in front of me.
The tension in the air was thick. Without needing to ask, I could feel something was wrong. Caden was clearly upset.
What was this about?
I followed him quietly to the CEO’s office.
“Why didn’t you answer my calls?” Caden’s jaw was tight as he stared down at me, his face all sharp angles.
I glanced at my phone. “Sorry, it died.”
“Where did you go?” His expression grew darker.
“I had something to take care of,” I replied, keeping my voice neutral.
“Where?” he pressed, his tone more insistent.
“I met a friend,” I answered, confused. Why was he acting like this? Was I supposed to report my every move to him?
Caden fixed me with a hard stare. “What kind of friend? A man or a woman?”
“Why does it matter?” I was starting to get frustrated. I bit my lip and added firmly, “It’s the weekend. It’s my free time, and I can meet anyone I want. You may be my boss, but you have no say in it.”
He didn’t answer right away. Instead, he pulled out his phone and shoved it in front of me. His voice was as cold as ice. “Look at this.”
I eyed his phone, suspicion creeping up on me.
There, on the screen, was a photo.
A photo of me with Jasper.
I froze. “Caden, were you following me?”
