Annie’s POV:
The commercial shoot had to be halted after Caden took Rosaline to the hospital.

Being criticized by Rosaline, a minor representative of a partner company, in front of so many people today. left me fuming-
1 approached Bruce, hoping to find some comfort, but he said, “I wonder how Rosaline’s injury is. Let’s visit her at the hospital.”

Why are we going to visit Rosaline for that tiny injury?
Why was Bruce so concerned about her?
Clinging to his arm, I pouted. “Babe, I’ve been shooting all day. I’m exhausted.”
Bruce hesitated for a moment. “Then you should head back and rest.”
“And you? Won’t you come back to the hotel with me?” I pressed, hoping he’d change his mind.
“I’ll visit Rosaline first. She got hurt because of today’s shoot, after all.”
Bruce turned and walked away, leaving me standing there, stunned.
Watching his retreating figure, I felt a growing sense of disbelief.
Ever since we came here, Bruce hasn’t been as attentive as before.
Why?
Rosaline had humiliated me repeatedly today, even threatening to replace me. Instead of comforting me, Bruce was
worried about her.
The more I thought about it, the angrier I became and I stormed out of the studio..
“Ms. Annie.”
I paused at the sound of a woman’s voice and turned around.
Standing at the entrance was a tall, elegant female werewolf.
“And you are?” I asked, my tone guarded as I sized her up.
The woman smiled warmly and introduced herself. “Ms. Annie, nice to meet you. I’m Wendy from the Wild Pack.”
“What do you want?” I asked suspiciously.
I had heard rumors about Wendy, Caden, and Rosaline’s relationship.
Just earlier, I had seen this young lady shouting to get into the studio to see Caden, only for him to coldly

It seemed the rumors were indeed
“I’ve long heard about you, Ms. Annic” Wendy’s smile was polite yet friendly. “Would you care to join me for
a cup of coffee?”
The Wild Pack was considered a prominent family in Rivemon, and many sought to ally themselves with them. Wendy’s approach intrigued me. If she wanted to talk, I might as well take the opportunity to learn more about Rosaline. “Sure,” I replied, nodding
I followed Wendy to a cafe near Eclipse Group.
After we sat down. Wendy cleared her throat and said with a friendly smile, “I saw the commercial shoot carlier. Honestly, you performed quite well, Ms. Annie. It was unfair of Rosaline to say those things about
you.

Although Wendy’s tone suggested she was defending me, I felt a bit awkward. I took a sip of my coffee and replied coolly. “What does Rosaline know about our work? She’s just an outsider.
“Do you know why she targeted you?” Wendy asked.
“Why?”
“Both Caden and Mr. Collins were present earlier. Think about it, Rosaline intentionally belittled you in front of them to elevate herself.” Wendy blew on her coffee as she spoke nonchalantly.
“Are you saying… Rosaline is deliberately trying to undermine me in front of Bruce?” I was taken aback.
Wendy nodded and continued, “Rosaline’s just a lowly Omega who’s relying on her engagement to Caden to climb the ladder. Look at how she flirted with Jasper right in front of Caden today. That tells you everything about her character.
1 frowned and what she said next fueled my anger. “And when Rosaline fell earlier, didn’t Mr. Collins look like he was ready to drop everything and run to her side?”
She wasn’t wrong. Bruce’s concern for Rosaline was far too obvious.
Rosaline was indeed a low–ranking Omega with insatiable desires. She already had Caden, yet she still tried. to flirt with Bruce.
“I just can’t stand her,” Wendy said with a theatrical sigh. “She uses her looks to seduce high–ranking werewolves under the guise of work. Ms. Annie, you must be careful.”
“I won’t let her get away with this!” I declared furiously.
Wendy clasped my hand with an equally resolute expression. “Exactly. We can’t let this lowly Omega get her way!”
Rosaline’s POV:
Because of the injury on my leg. Caden forbade me from going to work for a few days. I rescheduled the shoot with the photographer and stayed home to rest.
Honestly, my injury wasn’t serious, but since Caden insisted, I took the chance to rest.
The aroma of breakfast wafted through the air, drawing me out of bed. I sniffed appreciatively and followed the scent to the kitchen.

“Thanks, Willa,” I said, assuming our housekeeper had made breakfast. My stomach rumbled as I entered the kitchen.
However, what I saw in the kitchen surprised me. It was a tall, familiar figure.
