Chapter 87 Rosaline, Are You Jealous?
Rosaline’s POV:
After Jasper left, I couldn’t help but exhale in relief.
That was a close call–he almost exposed everything about me.

Just as I thought I was in the clear, Caden appeared, his hands grabbing my shoulders with authority.
“What do you think you’re doing, Caden?” I instinctively stepped back.
Caden took a few steps toward me, his long strides closing the gap.
I kept backing away until my back hit the cold, unforgiving restaurant wall.
Sighing, I turned to face him.
“What do you want, Caden?” I asked, trying to keep my composure.
Caden moved closer and placed his hands on the wall, trapping me between his arms.
His voice came out cold and sharp. “Rosaline, you’re my fiancée. And here you are, openly dining with another man?”
Oh, the jealousy card again.
But this time, I wasn’t about to give him what he wanted.
I met his angry gaze head–on, my own words cutting through the tension. “So, it’s okay for you to spend the
night with Wendy, doing all sorts of unspeakable things, but I can’t have dinner with Jasper?”
Caden’s POV:
I was taken aback.
What was she talking about?
I spent the night with Wendy, doing all sorts of unspeakable things?
“How do you know Wendy and I were together last night?” I let go of her shoulders, my voice tightening studied her face.
Rosaline shot me a sharp look. “You’re not as discreet as you think. Don’t ask me how I know.”
Her eyes narrowed, and her pretty little face twisted with jealousy–she looked like a wife who just caught her husband in the act.
I relaxed immediately.
Now I understood–she was jealous.
A teasing smile spread across my face as I chuckled, enjoying her reaction. “Rosaline, are you jealous?”
“No.” Rosaline quickly dismissed it, but her glare only deepened as she continued, “What do you think you

always surrounded by women. Why should I care?”
Her pouting expression was so cute that I couldn’t help but smile.
All the frustration I had earlier vanished in an instant. The sight of her like this made me feel better,
She kept ranting, her words tumbling out with that irresistible, sexy spark.
I leaned in and kissed her, stopping her words with my lips.

“Umph…” The shock of Caden’s kiss surged through me, my entire body feeling like it had been struck by lightning.
Heat flooded my face, and my breath quickened as I instinctively tried to push him away. But Caden pinned me against the wall, leaving me helpless to move.
“Don’t move,” he murmured in a low, husky voice. His eyes burned with a fiery intensity, as if a blaze was consuming him.
His kiss was demanding and passionate, his tongue slipping into my mouth, forcing my lips open …
A whirlwind of emotions spun through me, and my mind went blank. I forgot to fight back as the kiss became more intense, like a storm that wouldn’t stop.
The heat in the restaurant intensified, the air thick with the overwhelming scent of desire.
I had no idea how long it lasted–long enough that I thought I might suffocate. But eventually, Caden pulled away, breathing heavily.
“Caden, y–you rogue!” I finally came to my senses, my face flushed with a mix of anger and embarrassment.
Gosh, what had I just done? Why didn’t I push him away?
I’d promised myself last time that if Caden ever bullied me again, I’d let Freya handle it. But here I was, lost
in his kiss.
Moon Goddess, what was happening to me?
The bond between us might not be marked by a red thread, but why couldn’t I resist him?
Caden chuckled softly, leaning close to my ear. “I didn’t spend the night with Wendy. It was the anniversary of my father’s death. I went to the cemetery to pay my respects, and Wendy just gave me a ride home. There’s nothing between us.”
I blinked, taken aback. Was Caden … explaining himself?
Snapping out of my daze, I scoffed. “Whether there’s something between you and Wendy or not, I don’t
care.”
Caden raised an eyebrow, clearly in a good mood. He pulled me by the hand, guiding me back to the table.
“Let’s eat.”
Still in shock, I stared at him as he called the waiter over. “Bring me another steak.”

“You just said the food here wasn’t good,” I muttered, still trying to process everything.
Caden smiled, cutting into his steak with ease. “When you’re in a good mood, everything tastes great.”
So, forcing a kiss on me gave him a happy mood?
This perverted j*rk.
