Chapter 119 You Would Be the Best Medicine
“Stay still!” I said with a firm voice as I took a deep breath, trying to suppress the urge in my heart.
I held her wandering hands as I called my personal doctor, “Derrick, could you come over now.”
“Mr. Holbrook, it is the middle of the night and it is was past my working hour now,” Derrick answered with an annoyed, sleepy voice. Clearly, he was woken up by my call.
“Cut the chase and just come over,” I urged him with a firm voice.
“Alright, alright, where are you? Send me the address.” Derrick realized the urgency in my tone and responded.
I hung up the phone and sent him the location.
Derrick was the top werewolf doctor in Rivemon. What was more important, was that as my personal doctor, he would keep my secrets.
No one should know about Rosaline being drugged.
I then dialed for my Beta, Yale, to investigate the werewolf in red.
He was definitely getting himself into deep trouble.
“Rosaline, just bear with me for a while. The doctor is on his way here.” I removed my blazer and wrapped it around her.
Rosaline started acting up again. Her hands were reaching towards me as she moaned, “I am burning …
Her fingers were lingering around my buttons. I held her down so that she was unable to move.

“Caden, let me go… I am burning … It’s really hot … “murmured Rosaline continuously as she wet her lips while tossing and turning her torso.
Her seductive figure was alluring. Edward and I were powerless. As we both submitted to her charm, I immediately leaned in and kissed her pink supple lips.
She let out a soft moan.
Her agile tongue was meeting mine as she returned the kiss with equal passion. She held onto my face as her naked torso leaned against mine.
This was the first time Rosaline had made the first move.
Her lips and body were so hot that I almost melted.
My lips were fiercely on hers, and my arms were around her, pulling her closer into my embrace. Our bodies intertwined, as we became wilder.
It felt like the world was melting away.
Suddenly, there were loud knocks on the car window.

I felt a gush of embarrassment. I rose up and ended this unfinished kiss.

I straighten my body and adjusted my clothes before I opened the car door and said, “Could you check what’s wrong with her?”
“What happened?” With a pair of confused eyes, Derrick looked at Rosaline who was still clinging onto Caden.
“Isn’t she…your…
I cut him off, “Do your job. Stop asking.”
Derrick kept quiet. He bent down and carefully examined Rosaline.
“She was drugged. Did you do this?” Derrick joked.
I gave him the side eye. “Of course not. Please help her quickly.”
Derrick glanced at me and let out a chuckle, “Mr. Holbrook, you really didn’t have to call me in the middle of the night.”
I was puzzled. “What do you mean?”
Derrick gave a sheepish smile, “You would be the best medicine for her.”
It was only then I realized what he was trying to say. I gave him a stern look, “Be serious.”
Derrick chuckled as he took out a syringe from his medical kit. “Luckily I have everything in this little black bag,” he said.
He prepared the medicine and picked up the syringe and said, “She was drugged with wolfsbane. This might sting a bit when I inject it.”
I watched in horror as the thick needle pierced into Rosaline’s delicate skin.
I held her close as Derrick plunged the needle into her arm.
Rosaline’s brow furrowed as she winced in pain, “Ouch.”
I caressed her face to comfort her while telling Derrick in a firm voice, “Be gentle.”
“It will definitely sting a little. I can’t help with that,” Derrick replied. Caden pursed his lips. “You looked very concerned, so you are indeed serious about this fiancée of yours?”
“Of course,” I replied without hesitation.
“What about Tessa?” Derrick asked casually.
Tessa…
My brows furrowed. “That’s none of your business.”
“Sure.” Derrick carried on with his job.
“It hurts “Rosaline hit her lin as she winced in nain

When Derrick was done, he packed up his medical kit and informed, “Alright, we are done. You will be fine after a while.”
His medicine was very effective. Rosaline’s face started to seem less strained. The flush on her face had gradually faded as she leaned weakly on me.
“We’re done. You can make a move first,” I ordered.
Derrick shrugged helplessly and said, “You guys carry on, I am making a move.”
“Regarding the hospital that you have been eyeing on, you could consider that yours tomorrow. I’ll have the acquisition finalized,” I said calmly.
Derrick immediately responded with a wide smile as he thanked me profusely, “Really appreciate that, Mr. Holbrook!”
