Chapter 20
-More Than The Devil You Know-
“I want to know why you saved me, I know to know the reason why you did what you did,” Arya squealed faintly.
“Is that so much of you to explain, Arya asked, her face laced with worry, as she stared at Winne whose face remained emotionless.
“I don’t know what you are talking about,” Winne spat out, in a ridiculous tone that spited Arya
“Save yourself the ranting, and leave immediately, Winne said in a husky voice, as she turned to leave, she placed her hand on the doorknob, gesturing to open it and dash out immediately when she heard the most ridiculous name, no one had ever called her in while.
-Winne S
Swan.” Arya blurted out, with a confident look that marred on her face, knowing she had got her on the hook.
Winne turned around, with a stunned face, as she gazed at Arya in bewilderment.
“Are you surprised?” Arya asked sarcastically, with an annoyingly arched brow at Winne
No need to be, I already
y know that you are her sister, and she is the reason why you are here instead of her, Arya declared, as she sat back on her seat, with her leg crossed over the other, indicating that she was the one in charge, as she stared at the stunned Winne.
Since you have known, what are you then doing here, to rub it to myself, to make a mockery of me or what?” Winne asked curiosity tinged in her voice, as tears welled up in her eyes.
“No!” Arya exclaimed, with a concerned look etched on her face, as she stood from her seat, averting her steps towards Winne
Arya gently took both hands, as she stared directly into Winne’s eyes, Tm here to help you, to give you back the life you deserve,” she said in a calm and resolute voice
“I want to help you get out of here, you are not supposed to be here, and you know that,” Arya said, in a firm voice, as she tugged her hold firmly on Winne’s hands, affirming how serious he meant her words.
Winne gently disengaged her hand away from Arya’s hold, as she averted her step away from her.
“That’s impossible!” She blurted out
Arya was shocked by Winne’s unconfident words, and she abruptly turned towards her direction, but her gaze fell on Winne’s back, “it’s not impossible,” Arya spat out, hoping that her words would be enough to coax her into believing in her.
AILA Arya could see was a broken heart in dismay, yearning for hope.
“It’s impossible, Arya! I can’t go back to the life I had before I found myself here,”
“Everything is lost and gone forever!” Winne cried out, pain evident on her face, as tears welled up in her eyes threatened to fall, but was firmly holding them back.
Everyone sees me as a murderer, what kind of life do you think I would have out there, once I leave?” Winne blurted out, as she pointed at the door, with an unwavering gaze at Arya.
“You know that’s not true, you know you never did it, you are just here in Jane’s stead, the truth will always revile,” Arya blurted, ber voice laced with confidence, that kindled Winne into believing, but she brushed it aside, with the thought that it was just mere talks.

Chapter 20
타
“The world doesn’t believe in truth anymore, justice cares nothing about the truth, but money, and power,” Winne stated, her voice laced with pessimism as she spoke.
*Why suffer for another person’s crime? Who cares if she is your sister, she should be the one here, and you out there leaving your life to the fullest, having good memories, and creating a beautiful home of your own,” Arya squealed angrily, her voice laced with disappointment, as she stared at Winne with an indecisive gaze.
“Just let me help! I need every single detail about that day,” Arya requested calmly, attempting to close up the little gap between her and Winne, when Winne instantly halted her from moving closer with her hand.
My words are final Arya. I have chosen this part, so please allow me, and do not interfere in it, Winne said, with a stoic facial expression.
“I unchoose it for you!” Arya affirmed in a strong–willed voice.
Just let me
Abruptly the door to the visiting room opened, and the warden walked in with a stoic, and emotionless face.
“Time up, the warden declared, in an unfeeling tone, walking towards Winne, and grasping her by the hand, dragging her out of the visiting room back to jail
“One more minute, sir,” Winne requested with a pleading voice but the warden paid deaf ear to her pleas, as Winne struggled to stay
“You better listen, Arya, Winne yelled out, still struggling with the warden, as she grasped her hold tightly on the iron bars. of the window and closed the door.
“In everything you do, be careful of Jane, she’s more than the devil you know,” Winne yelled, in her voice, making sure that Arya heard her audibly, as she struggled to endure the furious pain of the iron bask that was hit on her hand by the warden, causing her to bleed
Arya tried to intervene, when Winne halted her, with a swift nod, telling her not to, Arya stared with pity laced in her, as she watched Winne being dragged out, and the door to the waiting room slammed hard.
“Im more than the devil she is!” Arya blurted, her raging eyes dazed at the space, as she clenched her fist in fury.
