Just as I finish my call with Mason, there is a knock on the door. Uncle James gets up to and walks to the front door. 

One of the pack warriors is standing outside and asks hele James how long it will be for we get to the training field. “We are coming with you.” I shout, as I try to get out of Maddox’s arms. 

“Babygirl, where do you think you are going?” He says close to my ear. “We have to go train those nitwits, if we want them to be of any help to us.” Is my response 

Reluctantly he lets me out of his arms and sighs. Walking to the door I gesture to the others to come with me. Getting to the training field I see most of the warriors sitting around. 

Only a few are sparring or explaining moves to others. And before I can say anything, that idiotic “Alpha to be” is in muy face. “Where the fuck have you been? We have been waiting for hours.” He yells, next thing I know, he is flat on his back. Looks like he pissed off Jerma just one to many times. 

After calming everyone down, I stand in front of the group. Looking around I notice that not all of them 

are warriors. 

“Those of you that have never trained before will start your training with Marcus, Jenna and Donnie. The rest of you will be sparring with the members of my team. That way I’ll be able to see what you are capable of and what we need to teach you.” 

Marcus, Jenna, and Donnie walk off with their group and a smile creeps up my face when I recognize Lily. “This might get interesting.“I say to my Wolf and we both giggle. 

The rest of my men have spread the group out and are starting the sparring session with the Warriors. Most fail completely, but a handful surprise me. One of them being the Warrior that came to the house to get us. 

“You are not going to train.” I hear Marcus say and I knew exactly who he is yelling at. Turning around I see Lily looking up at him, her hands on her hips and astern look on her face. 

“Who the fuck do you think you are? If I want to train, I am going to and you cannot stop me, Baboon.” She yells back at him. 

Everyone on the field turns around to see what is going on. “Lily, you are a small woman, and you could get hurt.” Jenna and I look at each other and a smile comes on our faces. 

Marcus does not realize he is screwed, that was not smart to say. While we watch, Lily takes a step towards Marcus and without saying something she punches him in the groin. 

“Oof Is all we hear. Lily turns to her left while shaking her hand and jumps behind Jenna. Marcus straightens and strides over to where they are. Jenna does not blink an eye and raises her fists

“Don’t you dare, Marcus. The girl had every right to do it. Hell, I probably would have done it, if she hadn’t. Lily pecks around Jenna and looks at him with huge smile on her face. And I can see surprise roll over his face, I can also see he has to stifle a smile of his own. Yep, the girl has guts.

From a distance James, Rico and I watch the crowd on the training field. We all have to restrain ourselves from laughing out loud at the action between Marcus and Lily. 

“If those two end up to be mates, I’m going to pity Martus.” James whispers and this time we cannot help but laugh. James and I both know that a mate is the best thing that can happen, but we also know that it gives you a lot of worrying about your mate. 

We keep watching as Dagmar gets everyone back to training. Jenna walks off with Lily and gives her instructions on defense. She shows her how to form a list and which are the best places to punch a male. 

Jenna signals for one of the men to help them out. Lily steps in front of him and looks extremely uncomfortable but straightens up and throws a punch him. 

It does not faze him much, but he tells Lily that she has a good punch. From the corner of my eye I see that Marcus is distracted and his opponent takes advantage. He gets the upper hand and Marcus ends flat 

on his back. 

“Marcus, pay attention to your opponent or the next one you will go up against will be me.” Dagmar looks down at him and shakes her head. 

She walks around the field and looks at every pair that sparring. Then she heads over to Lily and Jenna to see how Lily is doing. She gives Lily a few pointers and then she looks in our direction. 

Our eyes meet and I am yet again amazed at the effect she has on me. As I look at her, my mind starts to wander, will she be my second chance. If she is not, will I be able to stay away from her or give in to the pull I feel towards her. 

And when I give in to the pull, will I be able to leave when she finally finds her mate. Cole goes crazy in my head as these questions run through my mind. We both hope tonight will prove that she is our mate. 

A hand on my shoulder pulls me from my thoughts with a jolt. James snickers and asks where I went. I look at him and shake my head. “Full Moon.” Is all I say and I know that James understands where my mind went. 

Rico just stares at me, but he does not ask anything. 

We turn our attention back to the training and to our surprise we see Lily holding a dagger. She is circling Jenna, her eyes flicking in all directions. 

Then all of a sudden, she strikes so fast that I was not sure if it was a hit or a miss. Jenna looks at Lily and then her gaze drops to her abdomen. “Fuck, girl. You cut me. How the hell did you do that?”
