Chapter 133

Looking towards the woman, the one I have been looking for, I see a mark on her neck. “You are mine. Who’s mark do you wear?” I yell at her. I see Alpha Madlox stepping next to her, he puts his hand on her. lower back and then I see her mark on his neck. 

I feel Geoff and Henry tense, I know what is going through their minds and I feel the same way. She is supposed to be mine, I searched for years after I thought I had lost my chance and now she is marked by another. 

“What the hell do you want?” She hisses in my direction. She is surrounded by Lycans and Werewolves, she does not resemble the girl I saw twelve years ago. 

But my Wolf tells me it is her and he cannot wait to have her. He pushes forward, takes a step towards them and growls. “You are ours, one way or the other.” 

She does not blink an eye as she keeps her eyes on us. I am not yours and I never will be. And I would rather die than end up with you.” The determination on her face tells me that she will fight me every step 

of the way. 

But I know she will be mine, we are undefeated and there is no way these pups can beat us. 

Henry links me that they are trying to surround us, so tell my men we will have some fun soon. “Okay, let me tell you a story. Maybe that will answer some of your questions.” 

I look at her and start telling her my story. “Centuries ago, one of my ancestors found out that the Alpha of a neighboring Pack had been mated to a female Alpha. She made that Pack the strongest there was and my ancestor did not like that. 

He wanted her for himself, he wanted the power she gave that Pack. So he came up with a plan to kidnap her, hoping to weaken her Alpha and his Pack. Knowing her Alpha was ordered to appear in front of the Council, he ordered his men to take her, while he was at that meeting as well. 

Keeping her locked up, bound with silver and wolfsbane in her water, he was able to attack that Pack and kill her Alpha. After that he forcefully marked her, gaining her powers for his Pack. 

Unfortunately, she escaped the attention of her Guard one day and took her own life. After that, every Alpha in our pack has been looking for a new female Alpha. We made sure we had informants in as many Packs as possible, but it was not one of them that informed me about you. 

Actually, you have your Uncle to thank for that. Finding his Mate, left a woman scorned and she sold you out. Can you imagine my surprise, when I found out that there were two female Alpha’s in your pack. The rest is history, as they say.”

My entire pack slaughtered, because of a power hungry Alpha. Emma and I want to rip his head off and after that we will wipe out the rest of his pack. Maddox starts running circles on my back, because he can sense my mood and he wants to keep me from doing something rash. 

Grateful for his presence and confidence in me, I turn towards him and put my arms around his waist, inhaling his scent. Someone starts growling and I know exactly who it is.

My head snaps towards our enemy and Emma growls back at him. Then June links us, letting us know that 

has their eyes on them and they cannot surround them.

Maddox tells everyone to stay alert, to keep an eye on any movement from their side. From the corner of my eye, I see movement within the forest and then Jeff inks us. He is with the Warriors from the Packs: and they have the enemy surrounded. 

He tells us that Alpha Owen had ordered the Warriors to help out and for a second I wanna ask who Alpha. Owen is, but then I remember the loss of Alpha Nathan 

I tell everyone to wait for my signal, because I want to make sure that we can win this fight. My pack- members move slightly, they keep their eyes on the enemy and are waiting for me to make my move. 

“You will pay for what you did. Even if it is the last thing I will ever do. Your reign of terror is over, Alpha Max. For a second I see something glimmer in his eyes but it is gone before I can tell what it is. 

His men look a little worried after hearing my words and I take that small distraction to lunge at him. He blocks my attack, but as I spin around I’m able to claw at his back. 

His Gamma and Beta, both shift, before they get attacked by Cole. His Lycan form is bigger and broader than that of an Alpha Wolf, by definition a Lycan is bigger than a Wolf and being an Alpha Lycan makes him even bigger. 

Cole is as dark as the night, his claws are long and his canines would scare the shit out of most Wolves. I am facing Max, determination in my eyes and he lunges at me. 

Jumping out of the way, I feel one of his claws dig in to my shoulder and I cry out in pain. Hearing him chuckle makes me lose control of Emma, I shift while making a turn towards him and then it is our turn to 

chuckle. 

The surprised look on his face, when he gets confronted with Emma, is priceless. Apparently, no one informed him that an female Alpha is an extraordinary sight. 

Emma takes advantage of his temporary distraction, not wasting a second she jumps up, turning mid–air, she lands on his back. However, he recovers fast and is able to throw her of his back before she can bite down. 

And then he shifts back to 

his human form, I do the same and Emma and I wonder why he shifted back. Whimpers can be heard all around us, I can smell the scent of death and blood. 

Emma and I keep our eyes on Max, while circling him. That way we can see what is going on around us, I see our pack–members fighting the enemy, some in human form, some in Lycan or wolf form. 

It is good to see them collaborating with the Warriors Alpha Owen sent From the corner of my eye, I see Cole fighting Geoff and Henry and I know Cole is toying with them. He is bleeding, but not enough for me to get worried. 

“That mate of yours will be gone, soon enough and then your will be mine.” I hear Max say and it is as if Cole had been waiting for a sign. 

He grabs Geoff by his hindleg and clamps down his jaw, Geoff starts to whimper in pain, Then Cole tosses him aside and turns his attention to Henry.
