Chapter 134 

Colé 

I can smell my Babygirl and I know she is injured, but fine. And that is what keeps me going. I am waiting for them to screw up and when they do, I will take them down. 

When I hear Alpha Max speaking to Dagmar, I decide is time to stop playing. Geoff is the first one to receive some of my anger, as I toss him aside 1 turn to Henry and by the look on his face he knows his time is up. 

I jump on his back to pin him to the ground and then close my canines around his neck, squeezing the life out of him. Knowing that Geoff is still breathing, keeps me alert and I quickly glance at my mate, she is focused on Max and does not see the threat coming from behind. 

Just as two Wolves prepare to lunge at her, she jumps up and shifts mid–air. Before I can blink, she has taken both their heads off and I can’t help but feel proud of her. 

I can feel Geoff creeping closer and I let him think that he can surprise me. When he is so close that he can no longer escape, I turn around and snap his head. His body drops to the ground and I drop his head next 

– to it. 

I turn my attention to the rest of our enemies and I can tell that Alpha Max kept his strongest men for last. Looking at our side, I see that we have lost a few men and women and a lot of them are wounded. 

I all so see the determination in the eyes of those still fighting. Keeping an eye on our girl, I decide to help out Lucy and Elly. They are up against some bulky wolves and I can see the exhaustion on their faces. 

I jump between the women, knocking down two wolves in the process. The three of us make a game out of it, I knock them down and the girls finish them off. The grin on the girls faces gets bigger and bigger, the more Wolves we take down. 

Some of the enemy Wolves retreat, not willing to lose their lives for a power–hungry Alpha. My men tell me to keep an eye on Dagmar, that they will keep the remainder of the enemy at bay.. 

Emma 

Alpha Max keeps staring at her, but his face pales when he realizes that Cole had been toying with his men. Dagmar takes advantage of his gaze traveling to his dead Gamma and Beta. 

She leaps in to the air and lets me take over. Shifting mid–air, I land on his back and pin him to the ground. Before he can defend himself, I grabs his neck with my canines and rips his head off. 

Howls are heard from his pack as his head lands on the ground with a thud. Looking over my shoulder, I see those that can, take off and those that are badly wounded get taken care of by our Pack–members. 

The ones with light injuries get surrounded and they strender without hesitation. We will turn them over to the Council and they will deal with them accordingly 

Stepping away from his body, l’bump into something and without thinking about it I attack. But luckily he is fast enough to dodge me and I turn my head towards him. 

Cole me and presses his body against mine I put my head beneath his and he moves even 

es up to closer to me. “It is over, Babygirl.” Cole says in the mind–link and I hear our Pack–members howl in joy

I press myself closer to Cole, calming myself down by inhaling his scent. Cole nuzzles my neck, doing the same thing I am doing, letting our mate’s scent calm us down from the fight. 

Before approaching us, Uncle James links us and lets us know that the enemy is secure. When he reaches. us, he puts clothes in front of us and we both shift back to our human form. 

Maddox 

While putting some clothes on, I look around us and see that none of my Pack–members are severely 

Pack. injured. It has been one hell of a fight and it surprises me that I have not lost a member of my 

“Get them on their feet, we will put them in the cells at the Pack–houses. The Council can deal with them. I have had enough of these fucking idiots.” I say to no one in particular. 

Dagmar puts her arm around my waist and I kiss her forehead, while pulling her close to me. We walk back to the Pack–house of the Black Moon Pack with our prisoners in tow. 

The slash on Dagmar’s shoulder has already healed and the same goes for my injuries. “Alpha Maddox, why are those men still alive?” Alpha Adam asks. But before I am able to answer him, his son responds “Father, the Council will deal with them. They will answer for their crimes and a trail will give their victims. some closure.” It looks like the kid has a brain and a conscience.. 

While I was concentrating on Alpha Adam and his son, Dagmar stepped away from me and now I am looking around for her. I see her sitting next to Alpha Owen, an arm around his shoulder. 

Under normal circumstances Cole and I would be jealous and would want to rip his head off, but we know what he lost. So I walk over to them and put a hand on his shoulder 

“I am sorry for your loss, Owen. Your father was a skilled fighter and I know he gave everything he had.” Dagmar looks up at me with eyes filled with sorrow. “He lost more than just his father, Maddox. His mother….” Her voice trails off, she does not have to finish because I know what she wanted to say. 

Then Alpha Adam tells Owen to man up, to quit whining, after all he is an Alpha now and should not show weakness in front of his pack. 

“Father, shut the fuck up, before I make you.” Andrew growls at his father. “I think it is time you step down. Either you do it willingly or I will challenge you for the title.”
