Chapter 159
Dagmar
We have been home for a few hours now, but I still can’t fall asleep and I know most of us will have trouble sleeping. Tomorrow will be a painful day, we will have to inform the Pack about Izzy and I know that it will be extremely hard on one particular Pack–member.
They grew up together and wherever you saw one, the other was never far behind. Izzy once told me they would actually finishes each other’s sentences and that had annoyed the hell out of Julian. I try to remember his name, I know he never spend much time with her if Jenna and I were around.
“What is on a your mind, Babygirl?” Maddox asks. I tell him I can’t remember the name of Izzy’s best friend, the boy she grew up with. Maddox is quiet for a little while and then he says “His name is Stephan.”
We look at each other and I wonder if her friend and our Tech–guy are one and the same. Eventually I do fall asleep, even though it is a restless sleep.
Maddox
Dagmar and I decide that we will debrief our Tech–teams first and after that we will inform the Pack about Izzy. We walk in to the kitchen to find a rather disordered James sitting there.
“Uncle James, what is wrong?” Dagmar asks him, as we sit down at the table. He looks up at her and says. “Elsa is not taking the loss of Izzy well. She has been up all night and an hour ago she bolted out the door. She even blocked me out.”
He responds, looking into his coffee mug. I try to link Elsa, but she has blocked me as well. Dagmar is shaking her head and it looks like she has blocked all of us.
We finish our breakfast and I try to link Elsa one more time and this time she lets me through. I tell her we are heading to the Tech–building for a debriefing. She tells me she will be there shortly, but she doesn’t explain herself.
We all arrive at the building at the same time and Elsa Has a look on her face that I cannot place. James looks at her and she just shakes her head. Everyone walks into the meeting room and we get greeted by Mason and Stephan.
Both of them realizing at once what happened between me and Dagmar. Stephan starts up the screens, as Mason tells us that they can probably salvage most of the smashed computers, but that it will take time.
“Let us start with everything you have found besides the digital mess,” Mason looks at me after he finishes speaking. I tell them what the teams found at each location and as we come to the location of the caves, Elsa grabs my arm.
Elsa
Before Maddox can tell them what they found at that location, I stop him. “Maddox, I’m sorry to interrupt. But there is something that has been bothering me ever since James told me what you found at that location.”
Elsa gets up and walks over to Julian. She takes the bracelet from his hand and I hear someone gasp. Looking around I see that the sound came from Stephan, he is staring at Elsa and now I know he was Izzy’s best friend.

“Stephan, don’t worry. First hear me out.” Elsa says. “I couldn’t sleep last night, going over what James told me, again and again. It didn’t make sense to me and this morning I remembered something you told me.
You said they had send you DNA–samples of all the deal she–wolves they found. I spend all morning with our Pack–Doctor and he told me that none of the DNA matched with Izzy.”
The entire room goes silent as I speak and I look at Julian because I want to know if he understands what this might mean. “She can still be alive.” He whispers under his breath.
Maddox
Hearing Elsa say that Izzy might still be alive, is nothing short of a miracle. I know Julian will not rest until he knows what happened to her and I will make sure that all the resources I have are at his disposal.
Izzy and Dagmar were the only women ever to become Commander in our Pack, they were both determent to be the best they could be and they had both succeeded.
“Julian, whatever you need, it is yours. We will find out what happened to Izzy.” Glenn has a smile on his face, it is a small one, but it is one that holds hope. I can feel that Dagmar is relaxing and I put my arm. around her shoulder.
“Elsa, nice work. But next time, you better include me or you will be sorry.” I say with a stern voice, but through the mind–link I tell her I am proud of her for connecting the dots.
Julian walks over to her and pulls her in for a hug, which causes James to growl. Elsa kicks her leg back against his shin and tells him to behave,
Dagmar
I have closure on my past, the Evil Moon Pack is a part of my past for good and I hope my nightmares died with Alpha Max.
The Full Moon finally brought me what I had wanted for years, I found my Mate, the man that I have loved for years. Some of my friends found their Mates, some had been searching for years and others had barely started their search.
The couple I had been happiest about were Julian and Glenn. I have known Julian for as long as I had been part of the Pack. Izzy, his daughter, was a good friend and a fellow Commander.
A memory pops into my head, something Izzy once told me: Izzy was sixteen, when she had been discussing fated and chosen mates with Luna Gina. Her father had overheard the conversation and had butted in.
Izzy had told me that thinking back Alpha Maddox was probably glad there had been no visitors. I had looked at her confused and she told me the conversation had continued during dinner and she had made a rather inappropriate
remark.
I had asked her what the comment was and she had turned beat red. She told me that her Father had made the remark “I hope that my Mate is a male, because females don’t do it for me.”
laughed and told her I had suspected something about her Father. She nodded her head and then said “Do you want to know my response!” Of course I wanted to know, but what she said next made me blush so red and it took me a few days to be able to look at Julian normally.
Izzy said “But at least you know how to fuck them.” The memory made me giggle and I see everyone looking at me. I look at Julian and I laugh out loud and I decide to tell them, because I want to see his reaction.

“I was remembering something Izzy told me, years ago Julian looks at me and for a second I think it might not be good to tell them. “Okay, what did my Daughter tell you?” Julian says and I know I need to tell him.
His jaw drops after I finish my story, the others are chuckling and Maddox says “She was right, though. I was glad we had no visitors. By the way, did she tell you Julian almost choked on his food.” We all laugh.
