Izzy’s POV

After breakfast we head out to the Yellow Forest Pack. Traveling by car is a lot faster, but Evie and I miss looking at the scenery, smelling and hearing everything
Along the way we stop for lunch, Luma Savanah had a picnic prepared and we all enjoyed sitting in the open air, enjoying a good meal.
the But the closer we get to the Pack’s territory, the more anxious I become. There is only one name on list, a former member of the Silver Moon Pack moved here after she found her Mate. Alpha Drew of the Yellow Forest Pack is her Mate and that makes her the Luna..
Suddenly someone taps my arm, it is Luna Savanah and she is pointing ahead.
We have reached the border of the Pack and there are guards waiting for us.
The one that steps forward recognizes Alpha Michael and he bows his head in respect. Than his head snaps up and his eyes land on me, he probably smelled the presence of a Lycan.
He nods his head at me and tells the driver to drive to the Pack–house.
As we approach I see a man standing on the front porch and I am impressed with the size of the Pack- house. Most Pack–houses are small compared to ours, but this one is the biggest I have seen during my travels.
He approaches the car, as we are getting out. Just by looking at him, I can tell that this is Alpha Drew. He smiles as he shakes Alpha Michael’s hand and hugs Luna Savanah.
He turns to me and he says he is surprised to see me in the company of Alpha Michael and Luna Savanah.
Alpha Michael tells him about what had happened and that they asked me to tag along, seeing the fact they were heading here anyway.
“Ashley will be joining us after her nap.” He says and I see a surprised look on Luna Savanah’s face. “I hope nothing is seriously wrong with Ashley.” Luna Savanah replies.
“No, she is fine.” Alpha Drew says with a smile on his face. But both Luna Savanah and Alpha Michael keep looking at him.
It only takes me a second to figure out why she is taking a nap and I say: “Congratulations, Alpha Drew.”
And now they are staring at me as if I have grown a second head or something.
I start laughing and Alpha Drew says: “She is six months pregnant and the twins exhaust her.” Luna Savanah hugs him and congratulates him as well, while Alpha Michael slaps him on the shoulder with a
smile.
About an hour later Luna Ashley walks in to the living room and you can see that the pregnancy is hard on her. Alpha Drew guides her to a chair and helps her as she sits down. Looking at the interaction between. the Alpha and the Luna, I realize I want a family of my own.
And thinking about that a face pops in to my head. I shake my head to clear my mind, because Jordan is

I introduce myself and thank her and Alpha Drew for being kind enough to see me. “I just hope I can be of some help. Luna Ashley says.
I tell them how I overheard my Father talking to our Beta, that I decided I wanted to find answers and that so far I had been unable to find any.
“Mrs. Manning from the Golden Star Pack told me everything she knew and she arranged a meeting with Alpha Ralph of the Silver Moon Pack.” I tell them that he had hosted the Ball and Luna Ashley nods her head.
She remembers that Ball, because it had been her first one and she had been disappointed when she had not found her Mate. I tell her that I know that my Mother had just turned eighteen and that my Father had accompanied Alpha Maddox.
At first she shakes her head, but then she looks at me with a glitter in her eyes. “I might know who can tell you who she is. That night I met a Beta and he was accompanied by a woman.”
She reaches for her phone and starts going through it.
Suddenly she holds it to her ear and seconds later she asks if she can talk to Beta Matthew. It takes a few minutes, but finally she smiles: “Hello, Matthew. I need to ask you for a favor.”
For a second she is quiet and then she says that it is not her story to tell. She thanks him for his time and tells him my name and from which Pack I am.
“Please, Matthew. Don’t tell them that she is coming, it is important.” She thanks him again and then. disconnects the call.
Alpha Drew invites me to stay the night and head out to the Crystal White Pack in the morning. I accept the offer and then I excuse myself, because I need to talk to Stephan.
Stephan’s POV.
My phone buzzes and I see a familiar number on my screen. This time I answer with just my name, because there is no one around that can overhear me.
After twenty minutes I am up–to–date on everything and I am glad she is getting closer to some answers.
I just hope that her Mother is still alive and that Izzy will find closure, whether her Mother wants to be a part of her life or not
Jordan and Julian still come to my office almost every day and I feel bad that I can’t tell them that Izzy is fine. After all it is not up to me to reveal that.
Over the years I have seen both men change and I know it is because of my best friend.
