Chapter 179 

Beta Matthew’s POV

Ever since Ashley called me and asked me to do her a favor, I have been wondering what this girl wants know. Anne and Izzy walk in to the living room and I know I will get my answers soon. 

Anne sits down on the couch. Izzy sits down in an armchair and I take my seat next to Anne. 

“Izzy, what can I do for you?” I ask her and Anne grabs hold of my hand, while we wait for talking. 

Izzy to start 

“I never knew my Mother, she left after I was born and my Father raised me by himself. Don’t get me wrong. I had a great childhood. My Father is amazing, loving, caring and a tat nuts.” A smile appears when she speaks of her Father. 

“Almost five years ago, I overheard a conversation between my Father and our Beta. My Mother did not just leave me, she dumped me at the border of our Pack. 

A guard found me and alerted my Father. She left a note, saying she wanted nothing to do with me.” For a moment she say 

stops talking and I want to something, but Anne squeezes my hand. 

“There is not much information on my Mother. She attended the same Ball my Father did, neither found their Mate and after a few too many drinks they had a one night stand. 

You attended that same Ball and I have reason to believe that you know who my Mother is.” After she says that, she looks at me. 

“The woman, you brought as a plus one, is my Mother 

My jaw drops, because I know who she is talking about 

and I am actually not surprised she left Izzy. I also know who her Father is and I know she is right when she said she had a great childhood. 

“Julian is your Father.” I say. She nods her head and I have to think for a second to remember the woman’s 

name. 

“She visited our Pack with her Alpha and her Sister. They arrived a few days before the Ball and during dinner one night, she mentioned that she was disappointed that she could not attend the Ball. 

Her Alpha had declined the invitation, even though he still had not found his Mate. My Alpha suggested she accompany me, seeing the fact that I had already met all the females that were invited.” 

I look at her and continue telling my side to the story. She was so excited that I couldn’t turn her down and took her to the Ball. 

In the days she was here, I found her to be a bit arrogant. On our way to the Ball, she told me she was convinced she would get an Alpha as her Mate. 

She didn’t find her Mate that night and I saw her with your Father. But I didn’t realize what had happened, just that she was gone by the time I went looking for her to go home.” 

I tell her I went home without her Mother and that her Alpha was pretty pissed that I came back without

That her Mother showed up the next morning, saying she had gone to one of the guest–rooms to take a 

nap. 

Izzy’s POV 

Listening to Beta Matthew, I feel a bit disgusted with my Mother and I don’t even know her. 

I hope he remembers her name or the Pack she belong to, because that will get me closer to answers. “Do you remember the name of her Pack, Beta Matthew?” ask. 

He nods his head and tells me she belongs to the Red Dawn Pack. I ask him if he is sure about that and he tells me he is positive on the name of her Pack, then he asks me why I questioned him. 

“Because our Luna was from that Pack.” I tell him. “Shit Your Luna was named Gina, so was your Mother’s sister. Could it be?” he says. 

1 ask him if he remembers my Mother’s name and when he tells me her name was Grace Velee, I am the one that is cussing. 

I apologize to Anne for cussing and she just shakes her bead. 

Beta Matthew offers to call the Alpha of Red Dawn Pack and set up a meeting, but I decline the offer.

“I need to process this information and the best way I can do that is while I am on the road. I will and see if he is willing to talk to me. If he refuses, I will ask him to give you a call.” 

Beta Matthew nods his head and tells me to spend the night there and head out after breakfast. 

Alone in my room, I am debating with Evie whether or not to call Stephan and inform him of the information I had gotten. We agree it is best to leave it for now. 

We still have to many questions ourselves and thinking about it, I can feel the anger building inside of me. Evie wants to run to relieve the anger we are feeling. 

I walk out of my room and almost run in to Anne. I ask her if it is possible for me to let Evie run along the border, her eyes glaze over for a second and then tells me the guards are alerted to my presence. 

“You are the only Lycan around, so they will know it is okay for you to be there.” She explains and after that I make my way out the back of the Pack–house. 

It takes a few hours of running before our anger tempers down and we can actually try to get some sleep.. As I walk up the stairs I remember Jordan telling me during my training it was better to run off the anger then to hurt someone. 

And I smile thinking about the only person that can make me nervous as hell and pissed off at the same time.
