Chapter 205 

Jordan’s POV.

I don’t know why, but I do as Izzy asks and I walk to the Tech–building to relay Izzy’s request to Mason. As I walk in 1 decide not to tell him that Izzy send me. 

“Mason, Alpha Maddox is assembling everyone here. Can you pull up all the intel you got from before they left? I ask him. He just nods his head and barks out a few orders to the team that is on duty. 

After ten minutes the first Squad–members start pouring in to the large conference room. Mason thought it would be best to gather everyone there and I agreed with him, after all I have no idea what we are about 

to hear. 

“Is everyone there?” Julian asks me through the mind–link and I take a look around, to see that everyone is there, including Alpha Andrew and his Pack–members. let Julian know that everyone is present. 

Within seconds the door opens and Julian walks in with Glenn, but I don’t see Izzy with them. 

Suddenly I see Glenn stiffen as he looks at June, she smiles at him and he pulls her in to a hug. Which draws a growl from Alpha Andrew and that is when I see that they both wear a mark. Looking at the people next to him, I see more of them are wearing a mark. 

A huge smile appears on my face when I spot Maggie and Eric and I congratulate them through the mind- link. Maggie tells me to look at Ella and I think the smile on my face can’t get bigger. I really like Ella and Maggie and I am glad they found their Mates. 

But I was mistaken about my smile, because the second Izzy opens the door it becomes even bigger. Nero is finally settling a little, knowing she is in the same room. 

The second she walks in, you can hear a pin drop. Her Squad welcomes her back, she gets pulled in to hugs and I have to restrain myself from growling. 

However the look on Izzy’s face when she sees Jenna is priceless and I chuckle softly as I hear them 

interact. 

Izzy always has a comment ready and now is not different. I know she has a lot of catching up to do, but it seems as if she won’t take that time right now. 

I feel Izzy’s sadness and pain at the words of Gamma Elsa, not caring what someone might think or say I pull her in to my arms. 

Izzy’s POV 

I meet Stephan and Josh outside the large conference room and I see two unfamiliar faces as I turn towards Grace. Stephan tells me through the mind–link that he wants to be there when I start explaining. things and John once again volunteered to stay as a guard. 

Thank you, John. I will link you the second I want her in there.” I say through the mind–link. Because I still don’t want Grace to know that I am there. 

Stephan and Josh went in already because Stephan wants to see the look on everyone’s face, the second 1

As I walk in, the entire room falls quiet, I get pulled in to hugs and I chuckle at the look on Jenna’s face. But I think that I am the one that is in for a surprise. Because I see a mark on her neck and a man next to her with his arms wrapped around her. 

“Fuck, did I miss all the fun.” Escapes my lips before I can stop it. Jenna starts laughing, walking over to me with the man in tow. “Izzy, this is Paul. My Mate.” 

“Duh, that much I figured out already. Did you already forget that I was always the smart one around. here. I mumble as she pulls me in for a hug. Dagmar laughs and my Father scolds me for my language. 

Before I can say or ask anything else, I hear “If you ever scare me like that again, I will personally kill you.” I turn around and am faced with a rather pissed looking Gamma Elsa. 

“I am sorry. I never thought losing my bracelet would cause so much heart–break.” I whisper with tears in my eyes. I get pulled in to a pair of arms and I feel my sadness dissipate. I lean further in to his embrace, just taking a moment to feel his arms wrapped around me. 

“Well, there is a lot you missed, but I have a feeling that your tale is more important right now.” Alpha Maddox states, pulling me from my moment of serenity. 

I start feeling uncomfortable, because I don’t know where to start. “Why don’t you start with the beginning.” Jordan’s voice sounds in my head. His hand is on my lower back, as he takes a step back. 

I take a deep breath before I start talking. “For those of you that are unaware of why I left five years ago, I will start there.” And I revisit that day, the conversation between my Father and Beta Rico, my decision to leave and my departure. 

I am not sure if I should bring up the situation between Jordan and myself, But then I hear him in my head, telling me that they need to know all the circumstances. As soon as I finish telling them about my second reason for leaving. I see a few angry looks flying in Jordan’s direction. 

“I made a decision decades ago, after my Father and Brother both took their lives because of their Mates.” Jordan makes me look up at him, before he continuous “I am sorry for what I did, I am sorry for hurting you, Princess.” 

I can see the sincerity in his eyes and I pull his head down to peck his lips. 

I turn towards the others before I continue with my story, visiting Mrs. Manning, the search for answers. visiting all those Packs. 

“You did all that on foot?” I hear an unfamiliar voice ask. I turn to my left and look in to a stunned face from someone I don’t know. But there is a familiar scent hanging around her and after a second it sinks in. 

Marcus. 

I look behind her and the sight I see leaves me breathless for a minute. There is Marcus, one of our best Warriors with a baby boy in his arms. The loving look he gives the woman tells me all I need to know. 

“Yes.” I answer. “I made the entire journey on foot, except for the trip to Yellow Forest Pack. Alpha Michael gave me a lift after I saved the children of his Bera and Gamma.” I can see a look on Alpha Maddox’s face that tells me that someone is getting hell for this. 

“Alpha Maddox, don’t blame Alpha Michael. I asked every Alpha along the way not to tell you that they had seen me. I needed to do this on my own. Even though, looking back I know I hurt a lot of people in
