I still don’t understand where Zalia’s aura comes from am not even sure if she knows it herself and I have been going over everything I found out today. Her paternal Uncle is Alpha Cameron, making Benjamin an Alpha’s Son and it makes Zalia an Alpha blooded female. Not that any of this explains the aura she released in the Throne room, but this is what know so far.
It isn’t the entire story, I am sure of that much and I wonder what else there might be to my Angel. I had hoped we would find out everything in the Throne room, but for some reason she is holding everything close to her chest and I hope that when she reveals the truth it will answer every question I have running through my mind.
A Warrior follows me to Benjamin’s SUV and after I get on the floor between the driver’s seat and the backseats he closes the door, he leans against the SUV I hear voices coming closer. Zalia is telling Benjamin everything she needs to pack and it almost sounds as if she has no cares in this world, but I can hear that she isn’t completely at ease.
“You’ll be fine. Angel Goliath and I will protect you and Leander is going to have your back as well.” I tell her through our mind–link and I wonder if this because we are Mates or is it because of Zalia’s background. Damn, I really need to get some answers before my head will explode from all the questions that keep popping up.
Sila and I never figured out after the meeting why I was able to link Zalia and Twilight, but we did find our that throughout history it had occurred a few times and each had a different explanation to the question why they were able to link one another.
One reason was that there had been a sibling bond, even though they were Stepsiblings. Another reason was that they were long lost relatives and in another instance the bond had formed during times of distress, but none of those reason apply to me and Zalia. Sila had told me there was one other reason left and that was that we were Mates.
Eryx had laughed his ass off and asked her when their link had appeared, which is after they had marked one another. We were unable to find the answer and they had left me in the Royal Library to find the answer on my own. It took a phone call from Nana that had me looking for another journal in the Royal Library and it took me a few days to find it..
I couldn’t figure out about which Pack the journal was, but it was a Pack with a special Alpha bloodline and from what I could gather that bloodline went extinct. It was as if every special bloodline I was able to find in the Royal Library went extinct at some point in history and this one was no different, but it gave me another answer to my question.
In the journal an Elder described the bloodline of an Alpha, but he wasn’t allowed to use any names and there for he used numbers as a designation for the members he was writing about. The Daughter of Alpha
had the designation 11 and she told him that she was able to link anyone she had ever met.
II found out at the age of sixteen that she had an unusual gift, a gift no one in her bloodline had ever had and at first she had been scared to tell her Father about her gift. After she informed her Father about her gift it became a useful gift tool for her Father to use and 11 was more than willing to help her Father out, she supported his ideas.
Alpha 4 was known to take in those that needed protection, whether it was from their Mate, their family or Pack–members. With the ability of 11 Alpha 4 was able to help a lot of males and females to escape their abusers and each of them became a member of their Pack, turning it from a small Pack to a medium sized 1/3

It was the only reference I found to anyone being able to link someone that wasn’t connected to them in anyway and believe me I turned the entire Library upside down to find any book or journal with a reference like that, but there was nothing else there to find on this subject.

“You can come out of hiding for a while” I hear Benjamin say and it pulls me from my thoughts towards
Mate in the front seat. I stay in the seat behind Benjamin because it hides most of me if Elinor were to look in her rearview mirror, “What do you think they are up to?” Benjamin asks as he looks at Zalia and I am glad I am not driving when she says, “For Donovano forcefully mark me.”
The rest of the drive to Moon Stone Pack is spend in silence and the only reason Goliath and I are not losing our minds completely is Zalia’s hand on my knee, it keeps us calm for now. Benjamin warns me that we are approaching the territory and I wonder how they will get me through the gate; I know from Slater that every vehicle gets checked.
“Zalia, how was it at the Palace?” I hear a male ask and want to growl at him for looking at my Mate, but Zalia places her hand on my head as she leans towards the window. She tells him that she was the sole survivor and that she collected all the rewards from the extra challenge, before she tells him she is here to collect her belongings.
“I will head to the Palace in the morning, I am going to stay with my Mate.” She says and the male congratulates her as he walks around the SUV. The moment we lock eyes he smiles;
me and continues with his walk around the SUV, “What the fuck was that!” Goliath exclaims and I just shrug my shoulders, because I don’t have an answer for him.
“That is Gaia’s Brother, he is the one that recorded the other message.” Zalia says through our mind–link and I am glad he was the one on duty at the gate. “Gaia asked him to relieve the original guard and that wasn’t too difficult because the guard had a Pup two days ago. He will take every chance he can get to be with his Mate and Pup.” She answers my unspoken question.
I link Leander to find out if anyone tried to access the Gamma floor, “Yeah, an Omega came in about an hour ago and stocked the fridge. Nothing to exciting, but ten minutes ago a female walked in and went straight for Zalia’s room. However, it was locked as Benjamin told you and she placed a bottle of lotion on the kitchen table.
There is a note attached to it, but I haven’t been able to take a look yet.” Leander reports and I tell him that we are almost there. Before I can tell Zalia about the bottle the passenger door opens and a female tells me to get out and follow her. After looking at Zalia I get out of the SUV and follow the female who introduces herself as Nyx.
“I will get you into the Pack–house without anyone seeing you, the others are already in place and we might have an idea how they want to pull this off. They need to sedate her, but Zalia will feel it if they try to use a syringe and that means they have to get in touch with the one person Zalia hates for no reason.” Nyx says.
I wonder what she means with that, but I don’t have to ask the question. “Zalia has never been able to explain it, but for some reason she has never liked Mandy’s Aunt and after Twilight showed up it turned into hate. Neither one of them can explain why they hate her, but the closest description Zalia could give me was that is should imagine the feeling I get when I see or hear something I hate.
Zalla said I should multiply that feeling by a hundred and I still wouldn’t get close to how Mandy’s Aunt makes her feel. Maybe if you are with her when the two meet you will be able to understand what she feels, 1 doubt we will ever understand why she feels that way.” Nyx continues her explanation.

It isn’t difficult to get inside the Pack–house and we use the Omega stairwell to get to the Gamma floor. I sigh in relief the moment my eyes find Zalia and I wrap her in my arms the moment she is within range. I feel Goliath calm down the moment I bury my nose in her hair.
Leander walks into the living room with a bottle in his hand, “Someone left this for you and there is a note but that one doesn’t make sense to me. It says; Congratulations on finding your Mate, I hope he likes this scent.” Leander says as he reads the note and Nyx pulls the bottle from his hand to take a sniff, but the moment she opens the bottle Goliath goes berserk.
“Nyx, close it. There is Wolfsbane in the lotion.” I say a back away from the bottle with Zalia in my arms, the moment the bottle is closed again Goliath calms down and I thank the Goddess for the training Dad. gave me. Dad and I both have very sensitive nose and we are able to recognize a scent a mile away, something I never thought I would need in my life.
“Damn, I am glad Gamma Liam trained you so well. I didn’t smell it and I doubt Nyx smelled it.” Lander says as he stares at the bottle and I ask Leander to describe the female that left the bottle on the Gamma floor, something that might tell the others who it was.
“Where do you want me to start?” Leander asks and I tell him to start with the unusual features,
“At first I didn’t see anything unusual because she was wearing a hoodie, but when she pulled it off I saw scare running down.” He doesn’t get to say anything else as Twilight releases a thunderous roar, rattling the windows and shaking the floor. I look at Nyx who nods her head and I know who left the bottle in the kitchen.
