Chapter 11
She vaguely remembered their passionate process last night. He was gentle and wild at the same time.
As Ember was on her way home, the sweet and happy feeling of the two of them giving themselves to each other and melting into one another lingered in her heart. This sweet feeling stayed for several days.
Until one morning a few days later, in the company’s pantry.
“Ember, I’ve been looking for you for a while. So this is where you are.”
The person who spoke was Rose, her college roommate and also the niece of the chairman of the company she worked for.
Rose didn’t do much actual work at the company. She was always causing trouble for her, and she was pretty good at it.
On weekdays, whenever Ember saw her, she would go around her. Today, seeing that she came in a hurry to find her, Ember knew that something was wrong.
“What do you want from me?”
Ember held her forehead with a headache and asked impatiently.
“I’m here for good news, of course.”
“Good news?”
Ember raised an eyebrow, not believing her words.
“Of course it’s good news. See.” She proudly slammed a red marriage certificate on the pantry table in front of Ember.
Ember glanced at the red marriage certificate in front of her, then turned to look at her, somewhat surprised, and asked, “You got married?”
She was surprised because she had never heard of this rich girl having a boyfriend before.
“Yes, I got married.”
The young miss who was used to showing off in front of her had probably come to brag about finding a wealthy and influential man. Ember thought that.
“I have another design draft to finish, I’m going back to work.”

To prevent her from continuing to be so pleased in front of her, Ember smiled lightly and said “Congratulations” before going to leave with an excuse.
Ember picked up the marriage certificate on the table and rushed after her, blocking her at the door.
“Ember, aren’t you curious about who my spouse is on the marriage certificate?”
“Not curious,” Ember answered blandly.
“Are you really not curious??” Rose smirked triumphantly. “What if I tell you, the person on my marriage certificate is named David?”
What she said made Ember’s face change.
After a moment, she smiled listlessly, “Rose, I know you started liking David when we were in college. You even professed feelings to him many times behind my back. But I advise you not to continue to waste your time, let alone daydreaming. David can never like you, let alone marry you.”
After speaking, Ember didn’t want to talk to her anymore and left.
Rose hurriedly caught up with her, shouting at her back with a mocking tone, “Ember, you’re so confident that you don’t even know your man has slept with other women and become someone else’s husband.”
Ember stopped her footsteps again.
She turned around and looked at the woman who had been chasing her early in the morning, warning her coldly.
“Rose, you can insult me, but you can’t insult him. I know who he is better than anyone else. Betrayal is something that can never happen to him. If you continue to insult him without considering his reputation, I warn you, I won’t be polite to you.”
David was so perfect in Ember’s heart.
How could anyone insult him easily?
“How is that impossible?” Rose walked up to Ember, dissatisfied.
She laid out the marriage certificate in front of her and pointed aggressively at the face and name of David on the certificate, saying, “Take a good look with your own eyes, is that him? Look at the person next to my name, is it him?”
Ember was caught off guard. The person on the marriage certificate was really him!
She froze in shock.

Seeing Ember’s dumbfounded expression, Rose suddenly felt a surge of joy.
She put away the unfolded marriage certificate and snorted at Ember, “Do you still have anything to say
now?”
