The palms of her hands beneath the tablecloth began to perspire in a second. She made the choice to go through with the blind date first and then explain everything to him since she needed to answer to her
mother.
The waiter in the café approached Alexander right away after he sat down.
“What would you like to order, sir? ”
From a distance, the female waitress was enthralled by Alexander’s handsome and engaging personality. She couldn’t help but feel her heart pounding and her face instantly becoming crimson as she walked up to him and heard his question.
Alexander merely requested a glass of water even though he hadn’t eaten anything on the flight.
It was only because, despite being hungry, he had no desire for food at this important time.
“Do you allow group purchasing here?”
As soon as the table next to them finished ordering, the blind date man summoned the waitress over.
“We do not provide group purchasing here, sir, I’m sorry.”
The waitress’s demeanor towards the man on the blind date was notably more cordial as compared to
the prior table of clients.
“Group purchases are not permitted here?”
The man on the blind date showed astonishment.
“Yes.”
“You can do group purchases almost anywhere these days, but you can’t do it here. You should ask your boss to change the business model.”
The female waitress genuinely hated the blind date man in her heart after hearing what he had to say and gave him many back and forth glances. She continued to smile nonetheless and said, “Okay. I will definitely pass along your recommendation to our boss.”
The blind date man nodded in agreement when he heard the female waitress’s reply and then said, “We’ve already had dinner, so just give us two glasses of water like this.” He then indicated to the two cheapest glasses of water on the menu.

These two cups of water were the least expensive ones they had, the female waitress noticed.
She couldn’t help but send a sympathetic glance at Ember, who was seated across from the blind date guy.
Ember arrived today in a hurry and had not eaten anything.
She had been sitting here for some time, and her stomach was growling.
Her stomach seemed to ache as a result of the blind date man’s statements, which also caused her heart to skip a beat. It seemed to hurt even more as the female waitress gave her a sympathetic glare.
The blind date guy drank the water and then complained to Ember, “The consumption here is really expensive. A glass of orange juice costs more than fifteen dollars. How much does a orange cost per pound? You can buy ten orange for three dollars, I wonder how many glasses of juice you can squeeze
out.”
Ember didn’t dispute with him and, in what could be deemed a response to him, forced a pleasant grin because her thoughts were entirely not on the blind date man.
The man on the blind date kept complaining, “Doing business is about making money, but sometimes it’s just too much. It seems that there’s no honest business anymore.” Then he looked at Ember with shining eyes and said, “But it’s also good that we can’t do group–buying here. The food is too expensive. Even if we could do group–buying, it would still cost a lot. Um, let’s go out to eat later. I know a restaurant,”
The statements of the man astounded Ember. Alexander, who was standing next to her and sipping from a crystal cup, was instantly choked by his comments and spewed water out of his lips.
The waitress quickly approached after hearing him cough, grabbed a tissue off the table, and delivered it
to him.
“I’ve got a tissue for you, sir.”
Ember looked over because the noise from the table next to them was too loud and saw that, besides the waitress, three other attractive women had appeared alongside him in less than a minute.
She instantly realized that it wasn’t a good thing to have married a husband who was overly attractive. There were too many chicks because he was too gorgeous. It was problematic.
“Miss William, Miss William.”
The man on the blind date phoned Ember just as she was fully concentrated on the women gushing over her spouse at the adjacent table.
“Oh.” Ember awoke from her daydream as she heard her name called multiple times.
“I heard that your ex–boyfriend ended the relationship because he believed your family was

underprivileged.”
Ember replied, “Yes.”
“To be honest, Miss William, your family isn’t very well–off. However, after we get married, you can give me all of your salary to manage. I heard you have a car, but I think public transportation is pretty convenient in the city, so you don’t really need to drive. Maintaining a car is expensive. Also, your parents‘ house, your younger brother is going to college out of town, and now that you’re marrying me, your parents can rent a smaller place and rent out the larger one, saving a lot of money.”
