Chapter 25
Natalie looked at her mother with an upset look, “Mom, maybe my sister will come back one day. This feeling is so scary. Should we try to find her?”
Gemma’s face was cold. “Natalie, tell me if Trevor did something to you. Why do we need to find her? You were not like this before. What did Trevor do to mess with your brain?”
“Mom!” Natalie stood up. “You said that was the past. I don’t think there’s anything to blame my sister for. Everything we have now was at the cost of her father’s life. But, just because of this, it’s been making me feel increasingly uneasy.”
“Oh, please, just save it. Why don’t you make preparations for the party later? You’re going with your friends, aren’t you?” Trevor tossed the dress to her.
“Mom…” Natalie called her.
She grabbed the expensive dress and thought of the scene when Camille was locked in prison. She was only 13. She thought Camille had murdered someone. She hated her then because her classmates said her sister was a criminal.
But five years ago, she caused Camille to leave like that…
She left the country alone with little money, and the figure that left at the airport is still present in her dreams to this day.
Trevor handed the note he was holding to his assistant and drove straight to the cemetery.
Twenty minutes later, the car crossed the middle of the city onto the highway and, finally, into the suburbs.
With one muffled thunder after another, the sky clouded up, but it didn’t rain.
Trevor saw the cemetery on the hill and got out of the car.
He suddenly felt a heaviness in his step. The face of her father appeared in his mind–the man he hated so much if he hadn’t…
Three or five little girls on the side of the road were playing after school with colorful umbrellas in their hands.
He drifted back to the first time he had given her an umbrella.
She was shy and blushing at that time. He always wanted to tease her, and it seemed that she would never lose her temper no matter what. So he got addicted to bullying her.
“I really can’t ask for your umbrella. It’s raining outside, and you need an umbrella too.” She pushed the umbrella back to him and stood half a meter away as if she regarded him as a poisonous creature.
At that time, there were not many girls in school who were so old–fashioned. He laughed, “Standing close to me won’t make you pregnant. What are you afraid of?”
Trevor looked at Camille’s face with deep eyes. Looking at Camille for a moment, her face instantly turned red to her ears. Then he raised his eyebrows and smiled, picked up the umbrella and took it in his hand as a gesture to kick.
As expected, she bit. She immediately grabbed the umbrella. “What are you doing?”
He wickedly raised the corners of his lips. “Unless you want it, I’ll destroy it!”
She was always flustered by him. “I’ll take it then and give it back to you tomorrow.”
Give it back to him…

He felt that this girl was too stubborn. She only knew how to study.

Up the hill, counting the tombstones, he finally saw her father’s tombstone. He took a big step over but was stunned when he saw something in front of the tombstone.
There were wine and flowers.
He couldn’t control his excitement, and after making sure those things were fresh, he ran down the hill like crazy.
Natalie had already gone with someone to Leicester Hotel and was a little skeptical and nervous when she got the call from Trevor. “What? You said…someone visited the cemetery today to see my aunt? It…wasn’t my mom or me…”
Trevor’s eyes were sullen and indescribably gloomy as he hung up the phone.
“Hello?” Natalie called into the phone, and the other party hung up.
She was so scared that her hands were shaking, and she couldn’t clutch the steering wheel. “Who was it that went to see her aunt?” she thought.
Half an hour later, Trevor’s car pulled into the underground parking lot, and Sarah, who had been waiting outside, greeted him and asked nervously, “Trevor, where have you been? You scared me to death.”
He seemed very happy. “I’m not a child. I can’t get lost, can I?”
“Oh, of course not.” Sarah was shaken by his smile and ran up to take his arm. “Trevor, I’ll go to the room with you to change. The party’s about to start.”
Seeing that he didn’t refuse, she glanced back as she took his arm and noticed that his assistant was missing. She was on tenterhooks
Dout the slightest difference around him.
“Can you
do it? I’ll do it!” The banquet hall that held a thousand people was full of guests. Kim was trying to snatch the silver tray out of Camille’s hand,
“Well…” Camille was confused.
At this time, Rachelle and Luke entered with a strong aura. Luke was wearing a black suit under the bright lights, and his deep black eyes, like ice caves, were soul–stirring, and his powerful aura instantly made the banquet hall silent.
Rachelle smiled slightly with elegance and sweetness. Then, the warm pleasantries of people spread through the frozen ballroom.
“Follow us.” Rachelle passed her and glanced at her injured bandaged toe.
Luke frowned at “e.
She didn’t know what that meant. She didn’t understand. But she had to follow the order. After all, she couldn’t say no to her superiors.
She was carrying a tray with two delicate cups on it. It seemed she had to follow these two carefully to deal with them.
If Rachelle made trouble for her again, she might walk away immediately.
Rachelle dared not at his face.
hold Luke’s arm and could only follow him. It was like she was afraid he would run away, staring solidly
They ran into a man from Glondom. He was in his forties. He shook hands with Luke and spoke very poor Arteanian language to Luke. “Pleasure to be here.”
“The pleasure is also mine to see a friend of my father’s,” Luke replied.

“Oh, beautiful madam.” The Glondomian man went up to hug Rachelle.
Rachelle didn’t move, allowing him to kiss her face and hug her.
“To Mr. Walter’s son.” He extended his hand to ask for the red wine in Camille’s tray.
Camille took one step forward as the Glondomian man reached for the wine.
While pouring the wine, the man saw Camille’s slightly raised face.

Being stared at by him like that made her feel somewhat nervous. She didn’t know what had happened because she didn’t know him at all.
Luke clinked glasses with the man. He frowned deeply and took a sip of the wine.
The man’s eyes were permanently settled on Camille.
“Please excuse me for a second.” Luke walked inside indifferently
Camille naturally followed behind him. Luke turned around and widened his eyes at Camille. He saw she was really feeling nervous. That meant she indeed didn’t know him.
Not a few steps away, Luke suddenly turned back again, his deep eyes on Camille’s face, “You, find a corner to rest. Do not follow me again.”
She was confused. She didn’t know how she’d made a mistake again. She didn’t understand why he was giving her this _attitude.
Luke had turned around. Rachelle threw a stare at Camille when Camille felt confused again. She didn’t know what was going on.
Their movements made her feel very confused.
She reached up and tucked her hair behind her ear, cocking her head as she hurried around the ballroom, looking for a quiet corner.
Rachelle watched her slip out like a thief and said petulantly to Luke, “Luke, she’s a waitress! Why don’t you let her come and wait on us?”
He was silent, not answering her. Instead, his deep eyes darkened slightly, and his mind flashed back to her straining wrists holding the tray, which seemed red and swollen. He wondered if any part of her body was not injured and if she could take care of herself.
Where Luke was, at least four or five people would be gathered, talking to each other.
But his face no longer had a smile. Those people also seemed to be used to his usual appearance. Because of his
indifference, everyone was careful about what they said.
