Chapter 180
“Grace, are you really that upset over such a trivial matter?” Gina purred, clinging to Antonio.
My anger exploded. Tears streamed down my face as I screamed, “You’re all leeches, losers! You think you’re so high and mighty?”
—
Their privileged backgrounds, my quiet attempts to fit in it all came crashing down.
My outburst silenced them.
Fury and malice glittered in their eyes.
“Grace, who do you think you are? I’m only with you out of pity.” Antonio snarled, grabbing my collar.
Pity? A bitter laugh escaped me, tears blurring my vision.
“I’m done with your pity.” I said, meeting his gaze with icy defiance. “We’re over.”
“If I hadn’t gone abroad, Antonio wouldn’t even be with you,” Gina sneered.
“Then give him back,” I replied, forcing a smile.
On paper, I was his girlfriend; in reality, I was their servant.
Antonio finally saw my exhaustion, his brow furrowing as he studied my face.
I caught my reflection in the mirror. I was worn out and drained.

His expression softened, a flicker of genuine remorse.
He gently pushed Gina away, his voice gentler.
“It was wrong, sending a blind man on that errand. Let’s drop this. Apologize, and we’ll move on.” He said, his hand on my back.
“Apologize?” My voice wavered.
I glared at the room.

“You should apologize to my brother! An apology isn’t enough. You’ll pay for this,” I hissed.
Antonio’s face hardened. “What’s your problem? Don’t make a scene.
“We’ve given you an inch. Apologize.” Gina shoved me.
I hit the floor hard.
Accusations flew.
“Apologize! Say you’re sorry!”
Antonio yelled, trying to regain control.
Gina, fueled by the tension, crouched, her face inches from mine. “Fine, I’ll apologize to your brother too. Happy now?”
A sinister grin twisted her lips. “You should have seen him. Your blind brother, on all fours. Like a dog. It was hilarious.”
Her taunt ignited me.
I roared, grabbed her hair, and dragged her toward the wall.
