Chapter 7
“Grace, don’t be so aggressive. This isn’t who you are,” said Antonio, his expression complicated.
“Stop it, Antonio. You have no right to define who I am!” I sneered, turning back toward the gynecology department. He chased after me.
“Grace, have the baby, and I’ll marry you.” Antonio grabbed my hand, looking as though he had made a huge sacrifice.
“Don’t force yourself. I’m not having the baby, and I’m not marrying you. Did you forget what you said? You’re not the father of this baby. You wouldn’t want to raise someone else’s child, would you?” I shook off his hand and walked out of the hospital.
I knew I couldn’t do it today. It was probably because of that card. Otherwise, Lola wouldn’t have known I spent the money, and Antonio wouldn’t have known I came to the hospital.
Once I got home, I made an appointment with another hospital and paid with my own card.
The procedure went smoothly this time.
A month passed quickly, and I had recovered my health. Lilith called the day I was discharged.
“Grace, come hang out with me! You’ll find some handsome guys here!” Lilith sounded excited. I was about to refuse but changed my mind when I saw Antonio waiting at the door.

Chapter 7
“Okay, I’ll be there soon.” I hung up and turned downstairs without hesitation to catch a taxi to the bar, not noticing a gaze locked on me.
When I met Lilith, I felt a little awkward. Yes, there were handsome guys, but why was Marcel Larkin here?
Marcel was a junior from my college who had pursued me for six months. I rejected him without hesitation as I was crazy about Antonio at the time.
According to Lilith, Marcel cried for a week in the dorm after being rejected.
But now, here we were again. This was such a disaster. I frantically shot Lilith a look, but she pretended not to notice.
“Grace, long time no see! Come, sit!” Marcel’s eyes lit up when he saw me. The intense look made me avoid meeting his gaze.
He stood up and moved aside, offering me his seat. I had no choice but to sit down awkwardly in the booth, smiling at him nervously, “Hi, Marcel.”
“Grace, let’s play a game!” Lilith glanced at us and gave me a meaningful smile, then handed me a card.
I didn’t notice the subtle glint in Marcel’s eyes.
“Grace, you lost again. Drink!” Lilith urged again.
By now, I had already had seven or eight drinks and started to feel dizzy.
“I can’t take it anymore. Excuse me.” I shook my head and went to the bathroom.

Chapter 7
When I came out of the bathroom, someone shoved me, my back hitting the wall behind me. The pain made my eyes well up with tears.
“Grace, we are barely separated, and you’re hooking up with another man already? Don’t you remember you’re pregnant? How could you drink that much?” Antonio snapped. He looked so angry, and that somehow made me angry too.
Without thinking, I slapped him in the face. “Antonio, what’s wrong with you? Mind your own business!”
His cheek immediately turned red from the hard slap. Antonio stared at me, his eyes slightly red. “Can you stop the tantrum now?”
