In the banquet hall, Lewis eloquently demonstrated the expanding business landscape of his family over the years.
“We are going to integrate all our hotels and restaurants, offering cuisines from all over the world to the travelers. And this year, we have a new plan to collaborate with the catering department of other hotels in terms of desserts as well. ”
“Does this mean you have no confidence in your dessert department?” a reporter boldly asked.
“That’s not true. Instead, we’re doing that precisely because we’re confident in our dessert department. If we only supply them in our own hotels, it might be unfair to other hotel guests. We want everyone to savor the most authentic desserts,” he explained calmly.
“Just taking my word for it might make you doubt it, so let’s invite the head of our dessert department to give you a detailed introduction. Please welcome Ms. Gloria Hale.”
During the whole press conference, Tino never raised his head. He wasn’t interested in any of this. All he could think. about was when the speech would end so that he could ask Lewis about Grace’s whereabouts.
Despite the facts before him, he still couldn’t believe that Grace had died just like that.
Maybe Lewis was helping her. Yes, Lewis was more than capable of doing all of this. Maybe Grace was just angry with
him and she was doing that to draw his attention.
He continued to reassure himself, his eyes always fixed on his phone.
“The dessert shouldn’t just be a side dish. It has a soul…”
The speaker’s voice sounded strangely familiar.
Tino raised his head, his vision slightly blurred from the lack of rest over the past few days. He shook his head, trying to see the person on stage more clearly.
“I heard that Mr. Lewis Morton is going to announce his engagement today, and it seems to be with her…”
“From which family? I’ve never heard of her before.”
“I don’t know, but no matter where she comes from, as long as she becomes part of the Morton family, she’ll be able to enjoy a carefree life for the rest of her life.”
Tino gradually regained focus amidst the murmurs of the crowd.
Finally, when his gaze met the person on stage, he froze.
He suddenly stood up and grabbed the hand of the person next to him, his eyes fixed on the person on stage. “What did she say her name was?”
“Gloria Hale,” someone next to him answered, not understanding why he suddenly acted like this.
“Gloria Hale instead of Grace Parrish?”
“Who is Grace?”

Tino’s mind exploded.
His blood started rushing upwards, straight to his head.
After the person on stage finished speaking, Lewis returned to the podium and proudly said to the entire room, “Today, in addition to announcing this important business decision, I also want to announce a piece of personal good news. I’m getting married to Ms. Gloria Hale.”
The entire room erupted into thunderous applause.
Turned out Grace hadn’t died but had changed her
appearance and name? And she was even about to marry Lewis?
In an instant, Tino’s mind was filled with confusion. He could no longer hear anything around him, and, like a madman, he knocked over his chair and rushed toward the center of the
stage.
Several security guards saw something was wrong and quickly followed him.
Tino quickly reached the closest point to the stage. In such a short distance, he was sure that the person on stage was Grace!
But the next second, Grace was embraced by Lewis, smiling sweetly.
Tino’s heart, which had been pounding wildly, nearly leaped out of his chest when he saw Grace raise her hand and make a heart gesture with Lewis. He gathered all his strength and screamed out, “No!”

Immediately, everyone in the room turned to him.
Some were surprised while others were curious…
But Tino couldn’t see anything except for Grace’s calm gaze as she slightly turned her head and looked at him.
That gaze didn’t linger on him for long. It was just a brief
sweep.
Grace didn’t care about him. Instead, she leaned against Lewis’s shoulder and said, “Yes, I will.”
Tino heard those words clearly and he would never forget them.
Tino wanted to go on stage and ask her for clarification, but the security guards were already prepared and immediately put him down.
After the security guards escorted him out of the venue, the formal banquet began.
Tino sat outside the hotel, letting the cold wind blow. In his mind, what had just happened was being replayed.
He couldn’t believe it and he didn’t understand how it could

He sat there for a long time. His body became numb, yet he kept waiting until Grace walked out of the hotel.
He immediately stumbled towards her, grabbed her hand, and excitedly said, “Let’s go, Grace. Come home with me.”
Grace used all her strength to break free from his grip. Seeing that he was about to follow her, she ordered the security
