Chapter 7
But the truth was, I had never seen any of them.
I collected all the evidence and submitted it to the police, but their comments still stirred public outrage. The comment section files wests condemnation.
“This kind of person should have their psychologist license revoked.”
Among the comments, a few of my actual patients spoke up for me, but their voices were drowned out by the unise
They probably thought I wouldn’t bother to argue with them, assuming my calm nature meant I wouldn’t fight back they was wing,
I am calm, but that doesn’t mean I can be easily manipulated.
On the fifth day after the incident, I posted a photo of the case filing notice on my social media.
Not long after, Norton called me.
I answered the call with the recorder on.
He sounded upbeat, his tone light and carefree.
“Helen, I’m sure you’ve seen the trending topic. If you agree to get back together with me, I’ll have Kitty delete the ance and dear your name?
“The public opinion is turning against you, and if this continues, you’ll lose your job soon”
While he continued to ramble, I interrupted.
“Idiot.”
“What do you mean by that?”
I chuckled lightly.
“Thanks for providing me with new evidence.”
I hang up the phone.
That same evening, I posted another update on my social media. I shared everything that had happened, including screenshots and recordings, detailing the entire course of my relationship with Norton, even the three years we had been out of contact.
It didn’t take long for the public opinion to completely reverse.
On one side, there were baseless claims; on the other, I had hard evidence, including an official notice with a seal
It was clear who was more credible.
The people who had been attacking me quickly apologized and turned their focus to Kitty Back and Norton. The three people who had posed as victims deleted their comments.
But I didn’t stop there.
I anonymously posted a revealing article on Kitty Back’s university forum.
Title: Kitty Back, a Senior, is Actually the Other Woman.
I posted a photo she had once sent me, her face pixelated to hide her identity. Despite the censorship, some people quickly identified her from the mole on her neck.
The post spread like wildfire on campus. Soon, there were comments like:
“Whoa, that’s definitely Kitty Back. I saw her mom yelling at her outside the school gate today.”

“I’m fout the same village as her, and we all know what she’s done. Her parents are furious.”
“I was there too. Kitty has no shame. Her father even tried to take her home, but she refused. She’s crazy.”
Three days later, Kitty showed up at my door, accompanied by Norton.
I quietly called the police.
As soon as she saw me, she rushed forward, shouting.
“You posted that article on the forum, didn’t you?”
I glanced at her tightly gripped phone and replied coolly, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
froze for a moment before continuing, her voice high–pitched and sharp.
“Helen Timothy, stop pretending. You did it, didn’t you? Are you too scared to admit it?”
“I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you mean. If you suspect I’ve done something to harm you, please provide proof.*
Kitty’s face turned red with anger, her chest heaving.
“You bitch!” she screamed, raising her hand.
But before her slap could land, Norton intervened.
Her eyes went red. This time, she directed her anger at him.
“Norton, what is this? Do you still have feelings for her? Do you know how much I’ve sacrificed for you? How can you do this to me?”
