“You think he’ll try to get back at me?” Christopher asked, worried.
Celebrities like him were always afraid of being stabbed in the back by people close to them.
“If he does, won’t you just call the police?”
Chloe shot back, a bit exasperated. She sometimes wondered how her nephew
could be so naive as he worked in the entertainment industry.

his stalker. I was just worried about his mental state.”
Chloe understood immediately. Gideon was likely worried that Christopher’s performance would suffer and delay the shoot. She reassured him, “He’s almost fully recovered. There’s nothing to worry about, but thanks for your concern.”

continue, you can let him rest then.”
