Chloe slept a little better during the rest of the night. Every time she turned over in bed and caught sight of Michael awkwardly curled up on the sofa, an unexplainable feeling stirred in her chest.

out.” 

Chloe was puzzled about how everyone treated her with so much care today. She was not that delicate, 

Without much to do, she walked over to check on her pets. 

But their bowls were already filled with food and water. 

When she looked up, she saw James holding the bags of cat and dog food.
