Chapter 50 Retributionl
Just as Stella entered the living room, she unexpectedly caught sight of Joel.
Seeing her gaze, Joel turned his head to the side and let out a heavy “hmm,” her beautiful face as cold as ice.
A look of I won’t pay attention to you, hurry up and please me.”
Stella faintly averted her gaze.
“Bang!” Madam Dodson slammed the table abruptly.
The tea set and cups on the table were shaken and made a crisp sound.
Madam Dodson’s face turned as cold as water, “Stella, do you know what you have done?!”
Stella furrowed her brows and remained silent.
In the past, she had a bias towards the Dodson family and Ethan, and she was often belittled by Jaida. Over time, she even started to have thoughts that she was not worthy of the Dodson family.
I felt that Jaida was high above and out of reach.
Now, after the halo shattered, Jaida, who used to appear elegant and luxurious, is nothing more
than that.
Ethan glanced at Stella and asked, “Mom, what happened?”
“You should ask your good wife!” Madam Dodson angrily pulled back Joel’s sleeve, “Your good wife, inciting other children to bully her own child, is there such a mother?!”
“Ethan, I put it out there today, if Stella doesn’t earn Joel’s forgiveness, she can forget about ever stepping foot into our Dodson family again!”
Upon hearing that Jaida had his back, Joel’s little face lifted high, displaying a proud expression. Mom was most afraid of Grandma and listened to Grandma the most.
Mom came over to apologize later, and he would definitely not easily forgive her.
By the way, it was also necessary for Mom to apologize to Kaylyn.
Ethan looked at the bruise on Joel’s arm, his brow furrowed.
“What on earth happened?”
Roselyn whispered beside, “Brother, Joel said there’s a kid named Efrain in kindergarten who bullies him every day. These bruises on his arm are all caused by that kid. And…”

every day
Roselyn glanced at Stella and whispered, “Joel said that now Stella doesn’t come home and doesn’t care about him. Instead, she goes to take care of other people’s children for money.”
Madam Dodson angrily exclaimed, “Are we the Dodson family lacking in food or drink because of you? To abandon your own child and go out to earn money, it truly brings shame upon our Dodson family!”
However, Stella, who usually obediently listened to Jaida’s accusations, suddenly spoke up.
“I earned money by my own abilities, and it is not embarrassing.”
“Moreover, when I didn’t earn money, you said I was a housewife dependent on men. And when I did earn money, you said I was embarrassing.”
“Should I make money or should I stay at home?”
Jaida was taken aback for a moment, but her initial reaction was.
“Did you dare to talk back?!”
Stella said lightly, “Madam Dodson, not all the things you don’t want to hear are called backtalk.”
Madam Dodson’s anger grew stronger, “Stella, how dare you still try to argue?!”
Seeing this situation, Stella simply stopped speaking.
She came here to save Carina, not to argue.
Ethan looked at Joel and said, “Joel, is what you
said true?”
Joel was extremely aggrieved. He nodded heavily and handed over the phone.
“These photos, they were the evidence.”
After Ethan finished reading, he looked at Stella.
“What did you say?”
Stella stood expressionless on the side, without saying a word.
Madam Dodson exclaimed angrily, “Stella, have you become mute?!”
Stella said, “Since I speak up, it means I argue and defend myself, so I might as well be a mute.”
Madam Dodson trembled with anger, “You…”
Ethan frowned and interrupted the conversation between the two, “Stella, take a look at these photos first before you speak.”

Stella glanced down at the photos and said, “Yes, these things were made by me for Efrain.”
“So, what about the incident where he bullied Joel?”
Memi
Stella’s brow twitched slightly, “These photos, and Efrain bullying Joel, have no connection, right?”
Ethan noticed the bias in Stella’s tone and his eyes suddenly turned cold.
“What, do you think Joel was lying?”
Stella said, “We need to investigate further to determine who was lying.”
There was nothing wrong with what Stella said, but Ethan never liked Efrain and his son. Stella’s “fairness” made him somewhat displeased.
“Stella, don’t tell me you didn’t even believe your own son.”
“I did not disbelieve him.”
Ethan coldly said, “But you didn’t believe him either, did you?”
Stella calmly said, “Joel was young and had not yet developed proper understanding. We should not easily believe a child’s one–sided words.”
Ethan’s gaze grew increasingly icy, as he stared at Stella without blinking, word by word.
“He was not a child, he was your own son.”
Stella laughed, “You were still my husband, did you believe in me?”
Ethan was taken aback and was about to say something instinctively, but Stella interrupted him casually.
“I didn’t say I didn’t believe him, I just wanted to investigate. Besides, when Kaylyn fell down the stairs, Joel adamantly claimed that I pushed her.”
“The final outcome was clear to everyone. I had doubts about his words. Is there any problem?”
Ethan couldn’t speak.
Even Joel wasn’t so self–righteous anymore.
Jaida, however, disregarded all of this and issued commands without allowing any interference.
“Stella, I don’t care if you want to make money or whatever, but you need to resign immediately! I heard that wild child named Efrain doesn’t have a mother…”
Jaida’s words were not finished when Stella interrupted her with a cold voice.

“Madam Dodson, Efrain was not a wild child, please choose your words carefully.”
Jaida was so angry that she had a splitting headache, rubbing her temples and unable to speak.
Stella saw the situation and looked at Ethan.
“Ethan, release my friend first before discussing anything else, okay?”
Although Ethan was somewhat dissatisfied with Stella, he saw that Jaida’s old problem seemed to be about to flare up again, so he took out a medicine bottle and handed it to Jaida.
“Mom, this is the medicine Stella brought for you. Can you see if it’s the kind you usually take?”
Jaida remembered how Stella intentionally didn’t come to deliver the medicine, causing her to have a headache for so many days, which made her extremely angry.
She took the medicine bottle and threw it fiercely towards Stella!
Jaida covered her head with one hand and pointed at Stella with the other.
“You miscalculated if you thought you could manipulate me with medication! Stella, let me tell you, today you won’t get away with it so easily! This matter is not over!”
The medicine bottle exploded at Stella’s feet, scattering shards of glass everywhere. Even a piece of debris grazed Stella’s cheek, causing blood droplets to slowly seep out, giving her a somewhat horrifying appearance.
Pills rolled onto the ground, scattered everywhere.
The air became eerily quiet, and no one spoke a word.
Roselyn whispered, “Mom, Stella… Stella seems to be injured.”
Jaida, on the other hand, laughed after hearing it.
“The law of nature is good at reincarnation, and this is her attempt to manipulate my with medicine!”
