next day. I left nothing behind. The new
owner was also planning to open a bar, so I gave him everything. The whole thing
came so fast that Karry was shocked; he
didn’t even know when I left. This
further solidified his conviction: Evelyn
was Emily.

But since Emily was dead, when Karry
tried to make me admit I was her, my
memories were disrupted. I would forget
who I was and accept the identity of
