Robin’s face was pale; he couldn’t argue with all the evidence right in front of him.
His eyes narrowed, staring coldly at Samuel.

Howard’s expression was grim and cold. Howard thought, ‘I have thought today to make Samuel step down from his role as CEO but didn’t expect him to pull off another solo performance. That useless fool of Robin brought such worthless things to deceive me!
Under the table, he clenched his fist so tight that his knuckles turned white.
Samuel’s eyes swept over Howard and Robin. He abruptly stood up and said coldly, “Then we’ll go with the unanimous decision. The meeting is adjourned.”
He picked up his papers and walked towards the exit.
At the doorway, Howard stood behind Samuel and warned in a deep voice, “Samuel, don’t push it too

Standing in front of the large floor–to–ceiling window, Samuel looked down at the busy street below in the CEO’s office as the soft sunlight streamed in.
Perry stood behind him, unable to hide his excitement as he remembered the scene in the conference room earlier.
Smiling, he said to Samuel, “Mr. Howerton, we’ve already notified the police. Robin will have to pay back all those losses.”
Samuel thought, 50 million dollars was not a small amount. As Robin has taken in a great amount of secret kickbacks over the years, I’m not worried he can’t repay.‘
Samuel responded calmly, “Alright.”
This matter was wrapping up, but Howard wouldn’t give up easily.
Samuel’s eyes had a hint of coldness. He thought, ‘If anyone in the Group tried anything shady, they shouldn’t blame me for being ruthless.‘
Perry was in high spirits. He nodded respectfully and said, “Mr. Howerton, I’ll get back to work.” Samuel nodded in acknowledgment.
After Perry left, Samuel took out his phone and dialed a number. The call was quickly connected, “Hello?”
The gentle voice of Isabella softened the coolness in Samuel’s eyes as he looked out the window and asked softly, “Are you free tonight?”
At that moment, Isabella paused as she flipped through her book in the sunlit garden room.
With a slight frown, she asked in confusion, “Is there anything you need me to do?”
Samuel turned around and walked towards his desk. “Yeah, I’m meeting some friends for dinner tonight.”
Isabella understood and replied, “No problem at all.”
Though they had proposed keeping their engagement a secret, they did not intend to keep it a secret for their families and friends. If he needed her cooperation, she would naturally be a good wife.
Samuel’s lips curved into a gentle smile. “Alright, I’ll pick you up tonight.”
They exchanged a few more words before hanging up.
She glanced at her phone, put away her book, and slowly walked towards the main house.

In a luxurious and spacious presidential suite of Fantasy Hotel, clothes scattered on the expensive carpet hinted at a silent, intimate atmosphere.
Thick, embroidered curtains tightly covered the view outside. Under the dim crystal lighting stood an opulent, spacious bed.

On it, a man and a woman were entwined in a close embrace.

Lately, moments like these had been too few.

Jayden simply replied calmly, “I’ve been busy lately.”
Jayden pushed Ivana away a bit, but she only moved her waist closer to him.
Ivana murmured, with a slight pout, “Jayden, you’re being so mean. I miss you so much. Can’t you let me hug you?”
Her eyes flashed with a cold light; she had worked hard to arrange a meeting with Jayden and didn’t want it to end so soon.
A hint of impatience flickered in Jayden’s eyes, but he let Ivana continue what she was doing and replied indifferently, “Hmm.”
Ivana frowned slightly and thought, ‘Why has he become so distant suddenly? Is it because of that witch, Isabella?‘
A glint of malice crossed Ivana’s eyes. Ivana thought, ‘One day, I would have that witch under my foot. I would show Jayden who is truly the best!
Ivana hid her feelings, lightly tracing Jayden’s chest with her jade–like fingers, almost absentmindedly. She looked up at him
and asked, “Jayden, do you know who the man with Isabella at the bar was the other night?”
Ivana deliberately mentioned Samuel because she wanted Jayden to realize that Isabella was just a fickle woman.
After all, decent guys could not be found in a bar.
Jayden’s face darkened at the thought of Isabella being Dr. Lovett. His irritation grew even more.
Jayden thought, ‘What is the relationship between Isabella and Samuel?‘
Since Isabella left him, Jayden found it harder and harder to understand her.
Jayden’s tone turned a bit impatient. “Why are you asking about this?”
His expression turned grim as he pushed Ivana away, threw off the covers, and got out of bed.
A slight smile appeared in Ivana’s eyes. Of course, mentioning this made him unhappy about Isabella.
Ivana thought, ‘Men always want more even when they are satisfied with what they already have; otherwise, how could she win over Jayden?
‘Now that Isabella isn’t acting like a devoted follower anymore, and Jayden can’t stand it. I will use this chance to make him dislike that woman even more!
Ivana, pretending to be worried, softly said, “I’m just afraid Isabella might get taken advantage of. You know how wild the
crowd at the bar can be.”
Jayden got dressed, the chill in his eyes spreading. Ivana’s only virtue left as her gentle nature, which was nothing compared to Isabella’s capabilities.
Jayden looked away from Ivana, saying coldly, “I have things to do. You should go back now.”
