After Isabella hung up the phone, she stood up and gulped down a glass of water to barely quell the nausea she felt.

Then Isabella called Henry.

Henry answered the call, “Isabella? What’s up?”

Isabella put down her cup and said directly, “Mr. Ferdinand, I want the script for “Despair. Can you sell it to me?”
When helping Henry pick scripts before, Isabella had noticed Despair.

Isabella sat back in the chair and softly said with a smile, “Neither I’m planning to give it to someone.”
Although Isabella was smiling, Henry felt weird.

Henry had spent considerable effort and money to purchase the rights to Despair.

However, Henry hadn’t found a suitable male lead for the movie, so the movie was put on hold for a while.
Isabella’s eyes grew colder as she replied, “It’s for an enemy.
Henry was shocked. Then he said with a smile, “Alright, I’ll send you the digital version later.”
Henry was clever, instantly understanding Isabella’s intentions behind her actions.
Isabella exerted considerable effort in seeking revenge, suggesting that their grudge was indeed profound.
Henry didn’t ask any more questions.
Isabella’s hand rested on the pen lying on the desk. She picked it up and twirled it lightly between her fingers, saying sincerely, “Thank you.”

Henry slumped into the sofa, and picked up a towel to dry his still–dripping hair, a sly smile on his lips. He said, “We’re friends, so it’s not a big deal. By the way, you helped me last time
Isabella smiled slightly and had a brief conversation with Henry before hanging up the phone.
Henry acted swiftly and sent the digital version of the movie script to Isabella in no time.
Isabella looked through it, confirming it was the script she had read before.
With a mocking smile, Isabella said to herself in her heart, Despair.

Jayden was too excited to notice Isabella’s indifferent tone. He eagerly exclaimed, “Bella, you’re amazing! This script is really
great.”
Earlier, Jayden and his agent had been looking for a script that could win awards.
Jayden was convinced that Despair, the project sent by Isabella, would undoubtedly solidify his position in the entertainment industry.
Isabella remained expressionless and responded patiently, “Yeah, as long as you like it.”
Jayden was so delighted that his previous discontent with Isabella faded away. Smiling broadly, he said enthusiastically. “Bella, you’ve done me such a huge favor. Let’s grab a meal together sometime.”
Jayden realized just how important it was to let Isabella choose the script for him.
Jayden secretly decided that he should be gentler with Isabella in the future. That way, she’d be more inclined to keep selecting scripts for him.
However, Isabella didn’t want to keep getting caught up with Jayden, so she simply said, “No, thanks. Consider this script a thank–you for helping seal the deal with Mr. Smith last time.”

“Despite how kindly I treat her, she still isn’t impressed.
However, Isabella’s reaction indicates that she still cares about me, doesn’t it?
“Since that’s the case, playing a bit of hard–to–get now and then won’t hurt. For the script’s sake, I have to let her have her
way.”
Jayden spoke softly, “Bella, you shouldn’t feel the need to keep track of every detail between us. I’m here to help you.”
Isabella felt so nauseated she couldn’t help but shudder.
She couldn’t listen to Jayden anymore, so she quickly stopped stretching herself and said, “Okay, let’s leave it at that. I’m hanging up now.”
Before Jayden could respond, Isabella had already hung up the call.
Jayden wanted to say something more, and called out, “Bella.”
He watched the screen dim gradually, feeling annoyed
Upon seeing the script on his computer, Jayden leaned back heavily in his chair. Despite Isabella choosing an extraordinary script for him, he decided not to take it personally.
Jayden’s fingers lightly tapped on the keyboard as he sent the script to his agent.
After Isabella ended the call, she put the phone down on the desk her expression turning cold. Having been treated unjustly by Jayden and Ivana, she was determined to be unyielding in her response to them.
