Chapter 146
Hudson’s face suddenly darkened. Zayn’s provocation was absolutely intolerable.
Hudson couldn’t just sit back and take Zayn’s mockery.
With a snort, Hudson called the manager over and ordered, “These are 20 million dollars. Get me my chips.”
The manager’s eyes lit up. He nodded and bowed slightly, saying, “Sure thing, Mr. Stout. I’ll get them ready right away.”
Zayn chewed his gum with a mocking grin and said, “Old man, are you cashing in your welfare? If you’re out of money, I’d suggest you not gamble with me. You can’t afford it.”
Zayn sat back in the chair, snapped his fingers, and a stunning woman stepped up, immediately starting to massage his shoulders.
Hudson’s forehead veins bulged in anger as he glared at Zayn. He warned, “Kid, don’t be so proud. You will regret it later.” In all his years at the casino, no one had ever dared to provoke Hudson like this.
In Hudson’s eyes, Zayn was asking for trouble.
However, Zayn just shrugged casually and said, “I’m so scared!”
He was doing everything he could to provoke Hudson.
Hudson couldn’t stand it any longer. He wanted Zayn to lose immediately and to teach him a harsh lesson.
Hudson shouted sternly, “Let’s begin!”
Jean instinctively glanced at the manager, who discreetly gave her a signal, and she smiled and continued shuffling and dealing the cards.
Jean’s hands moved so quickly that no one could see her actions clearly.
Hudson usually liked having Jean around, not just because she was attractive, but because her card dealing was incredibly smooth, and he had won quite a bit of money with her dealing.
Zayn looked at Hudson provocatively, and as their hostile gazes met, Jean finished dealing the cards.
Although Hudson was well–versed in casino games, this marked his inaugural experience with high–stakes betting.
Although Hudson appeared calm, his hands were trembling as he held the cards. Even the manager noticed how nervous he
was.
Hudson slowly revealed the corner of a card, and when he saw the spade, he felt relieved a bit.
Then came the second card, then the third–all spades.
A surge of confidence filled Hudson, and he even straightened up a bit.
Hudson placed all the chips the manager had just brought to the table, looked at Zayn with arrogance, and said, “I’m all in.”
His bold move drew quite a few surprised looks.
The manager looked at Hudson in surprise and said, “Mr. Stout, you need to stay calm.”
Hudson’s cold eyes fell on the manager, and he said in a stern voice, “Mind your own business! Fuck off!”

Chapter 146-
After looking at his cards, Zayn wasn’t afraid of Hudson. He pushed all his chips forward and said, “I’m all in, too.”
This was undoubtedly a high–stakes gamble.
Together, they were wagering tens of millions of dollars!
Hudson was suddenly excited. If he won this 15 million dollars, he’d be making a fortune.
-Hudson was out of chips, so he wrote another check to the manager, saying, “Bring me all the chips I need.”
The manager looked at the number on the check and almost felt his knees
go
weak.
However, Hudson couldn’t hide the excitement in his eyes.
Zayn was completely fearless and also wrote a check to the manager.
Soon, they both had piles of chips stacked in front of them.
Zayn pushed 3 million dollars‘ worth of chips onto the table and taunted Hudson, saying, “I’m all in for 3 million dollars. Old man, how many rounds do you think you can match me with that pension of yours?”
Zayn’s words irritated Hudson.
Hudson’s expression turned stern as he nonchalantly waved his hand, responding with a single word, “Call.”
The people attending in the private room were sweating bullets. This was a big game.
Hudson and Zayn referred to the chips as if they were mere numbers, not actual currency.
Hudson stared at the chips, gritted his teeth, and declared, “I’ll put in the remaining 15 million dollars. Show me your cards!”
Zayn wagged his index finger at Hudson, saying, “Old man, even in a casino, if you want me to show my cards, your bet has to be bigger than what’s on the table. That’s the rule.”
Zayn’s eyes were filled with mockery as he looked at Hudson.
Sweat was now forming on Hudson’s forehead.
Now, the stakes on the table had reached 30 million dollars. To see the cards revealed, another 30 million dollars was needed.
But Hudson’s hand was full of spades.
If he revealed his cards, it would be a guaranteed win.
30 million dollars!
Hudson gritted his teeth, hesitating internally.
Zayn continued to mock Hudson by saying, “Old man, you shouldn’t come to the casino if you’re broke. Planning to see my cards now? You wish! If you’re out of money, let me show you how it’s done.”
Zayn’s grip on the cards tightened, but a flicker of panic flashed in his eyes.
At that moment, Hudson caught Zayn’s nervous look.
Hudson thought joyfully, ‘It seems like the kid’s cards aren’t that great.’
Hudson excitedly waved his hand and shouted, “Show me your cards!”
Chapter 146
Then he put in another 30 million dollars.
The panic in Zayn’s eyes vanished in an instant. He smiled, shrugged, stood up, and laid his cards on the table–a spades
flush.
Hudson’s eyes widened in disbelief, and he exclaimed, “No, you must be cheating!”
The spades were clearly in Hudson’s hand.
Zayn raised his hands and laughed wildly at Hudson, saying, “O man, don’t be a sore loser. Why don’t you show your cards?”
Hudson thought, ‘No, something is wrong.
Hudson stood up in a hurry to show his cards, but there was a black flower instead of a spade.
Hudson couldn’t believe it.
He fell heavily back into his chair, staring in disbelief at the cards.
Hudson thought, ‘Did I see it wrong? How could I have been wrong?”
Suddenly, Hudson looked at Jean, who stood there with a polite smile. She was the only one who could have pulled such a trick.
With shaking fingers, Hudson pointed at Jean and shouted angrily, “Bitch! How dare you set me up!”
However, the casino’s security swiftly encircled Hudson, making it impossible for him to even touch Jean.
Jean maintained a respectful tone, stating, “Mr. Stout, our club has always upheld integrity. We ask that you refrain from defaming us.”
The manager quickly came over to smooth things over, saying, “Mr. Stout, we’re just following the rules.”
The mention of rules left Hudson with no way out.
This casino was supported by a powerful force that Hudson couldn’t possibly contend with.
Hudson felt his head spinning.
Zayn picked up a chip from the table and sneered, “Old man, if you can’t handle the game without backup, just stay out. You can’t afford to lose.” With that, he turned and walked away.
But just as the private room’s door opened, Hudson clearly saw Dominic sitting outside, holding a cigar.
Hudson’s expression underwent a drastic change.
He wondered, ‘Could it be Dominic?‘
Hudson suddenly furrowed his brow, pondering, ‘No, this casino shouldn’t have anything to do with Dominic
Just like that, Hudson lost 60 million dollars.
Suddenly, Hudson appeared to have aged a decade, collapsing into his chair, utterly drained.
However, with his head down, he didn’t even notice something.
Inside the private room, Jean, the manager, and others were gone. Only a few security guards were left, along with one other person.
