Chapter 209
Samuel pulled away slightly and, noticing Isabella’s blushing car smirked. He leaned in and whispered near her car, “Mrs. Howerton, so that’s why you brought me to this restaurant.”
Isabella felt the heat rush to her face instantly. And she believed that Samuel did it on purpose.
Isabella glanced around and noticed that others were caught up in their own situations and hadn’t noticed them. She glared at Samuel. “No way”
She was simply here for a meal, who knew that these little game were a tradition.
Isabella caught a hint of mischief in Samuel’s eyes and realized he was doing this on purpose.
She softly huffed and said. “No distractions–focus and play the game properly. “The amusement in Samuel’s eyes deepened.
The two of them resumed the game, pressing their foreheads together to remove a small balloon, then teamed up to place it into their cloth bag.
Isabella couldn’t help but admit, Samuel was quite impressive. These kinds of mini–games were no challenge for him.
In no time, his bag was filled with a bunch of small balloons
Isabella’s cheeks turned even redder than before, she couldn’t tell if he was doing it on purpose or not.
Samuel managed to kiss her lips, the tip of her nose, her cheeks and even her earlobes.
Yet, his straight face made it hard for Isabella to call him out on it.
Time was ticking away, and everyone was racing to put these small balloons into their bags as quickly as possible.
Five minutes later, the host stood in the middle, holding a timer and a microphone, shouting loudly, “There are five seconds left, let’s count down together.”
The crowd that had gathered to watch, who weren’t part of the game, all started counting down with the host. “Five, four, three, two, one.”
The atmosphere was lively, and as the countdown ended, everyone suddenly stopped what they were doing.
Samuel and Isabella had a small balloon hovering above their foreheads, and suddenly it floated away. Due to the momentum, their noses and lips touched.
Isabella initially wanted to pull away, but just then, Samuel unexpectedly wrapped his arm around her waist, deepermig the
kiss.
Isabella’s mind went blank for a moment. She stared with wide eyes at Samuel who was so close to her. There were people all around and he was doing like this.
Isabella felt like her blood was boiling, racing through her veins uncontrollably. Her face was burning as she struggled to push Samuel away.

But Samuel’s arms around her were like steel bars, unmoving, forcing her to endure his stormy
Feeling her yielding, Samuel’s inner turmoil grew harder to control, and he tightened his grip on her.
It wasn’t until Isabella’s legs weakened from the kissing, and she leaned into Samuel’s arms, that he finally eased the kiss.

But he didn’t loosen his grip,on her at all. Isabella found she couldn’t free herself either. She was sure that if he let go, she wouldn’t be able to stand.
Isabella internally scolded herself for being so pathetic, allowing herself to be kissed by Samuel to the point of unsteadiness.
The sounds of the crowd around her grew louder, with people whistling, clapping, and screaming, all echoing in Isabella’s
For the first time, she was kissing a guy in public. Even the usually composed Isabella didn’t dare lift her head to look at others, instead resting her head against Sammiel’s shoulder.
This rare display of shyness from Isabella made Samuel’s smile broaden.
He leaned in slowly to Isabella’s car, his voice hourse as he whispered, “Little rookie” From just one kiss, she could barely stand, so soft and tender.
Upon hearing this, Isabella clenched her fist and lightly punched Samuel’s chest, a muffled voice emerging from her hiding place. “Shut up.”
It was obviously a threat, but it lacked any strength, instead having a touch of shyness.
The host watched Samuel and Isabella with a doting smile. Both were incredibly good–looking, making them stand out at
the event.
She walked over with small steps, took the cloth bag from Samuel’s hand, and handed it to the staff to count.
The host looked at Samuel and Isabella in awe and exclaimed, “This couple collected sixty in total, wow, that’s an impressive number, so strong!”
After the staff counted the others‘ numbers, the host held up that pair of rings and waved them, saying, “This is today’s prize.
The host then looked towards where Samuel and Isabella were seated, and with a smile, announced, “For our best couple award
No one had any objections. After all, sixty points was something no one could beat.
At this moment, Isabella had composed herself and stepped out of Samuel’s embrace to stand at his side. Yet, Samuel still held Isabella’s hand tightly.
The host walked up to the couple and everyone focused on them. “How does it feel to win the first prize in our little event today?”
She handed the microphone to Samuel, hoping to capture some excitement from the winners.
However, Samuel just replied with two words. “Not bad.”
Suddenly, the lively atmosphere became a bit awkward. Even the seasoned host was momentarily at a loss for words. The first prize was a ring worth thousands, and he only said two words.
Isabella couldn’t help but laugh softly. She thought, ‘Samuel really was something…
The host raised her eyebrows, casting a playful smile, and moved the microphone to Isabella. She continued smiling and said. “Your boyfriend is certainly sparing with words. Miss, are you satisfied with today’s event?”
For a moment, Isabella found it hard to smile. Instinctively, she turned to look at Samuel, and she saw a hint of amusement in his eyes as he followed up on the host’s question, asking Isabella, “Are you satisfied?”
But Isabella knew better than anyone that what Samuel meant by “satisfied” was completely different from what the host

meant.
With so many eyes on her, Isabella could only brace herself and say, “Yes”
And so, Samuel was satisfied. However, the host was less than pleased.
She had never encountered a couple more difficult to interview she was smiling cheerfully on the outside, but inside she was about ready to smash the microphone out of frustration.
It seemed impossible to get any compliments for their store today.
Resigned to her fate, the host internally lamented but kept a professional smile, saying, ‘Alright, customer satisfaction is our lifelong pursuit. These rings are yours now, wishing you a long–lasting and blissful relationship.”
She handed the matching rings to Isabella. Isabella accepted them with a polite smile and said, “Thank you.”
She opened the ring box to reveal two simple matching rings inside. T
