Samuel ended the call, his deep eyes hinted at something uncertain. After a pause, he picked up his phone and sent a message to Isabella.
Samuel: [I’m heading back to the Howerton residence tonight. Remember to eat.]
Isabella, who was busy, paused for a moment when she saw Samuel’s message, then replied.

Because of a series of incidents caused by Brittany, Isabella wasn’t feeling very cheerful today. After replying to the message, she put her phone aside and continued focusing on her tasks.
Samuel put down his phone and returned to work.
At the Howerton family mansion that evening. It wasn’t the usual quiet tonight; instead, it was lively and bustling.
In the living room, furnished with elegant furniture, Rachana, in a pink princess dress, was running around with a butterfly toy. The butterfly’s tail fluttered as she ran, looking quite pretty
Rachana’s laughter, like tinkling bells, filled the entire mansion. Running around, she called out to Hoy, who was on the couch, “Grandpa, look at the butterfly fly!”
The sweet voice was so endearing it softened the hearts of everyone around.
Hoy, dressed in a suit, sat properly on the couch. Although he was usually quite stern, a fond smile appeared on his face as he called to the little girl, “Take it easy, be careful not to fall.”
In the family, Rachana was the only little girl, cherished and loved by everyone.
Sarah, still in her work outfit, came out of the kitchen carrying a bowl of fruit. She was clearly just back from work, and tool Rachana with her.

Rachana crossed her arms, pouted exaggeratedly, and huffed, “Mommy’s being mean.”
Sarah’s heart had already completely melted.
She bent down to give the little girl a kiss on the cheek, then took two cherries from the plate and handed them to Rachana As soon as the little girl saw the cherries, her round eyes lit up, and she eagerly grabbed them and started eating
Sarah just shook her head with a smile and said, “Slow down, or you’ll choke.”
The little girl might find it challenging to become a lady in the future. Sarah’s standards aren’t high, she just hopes she’s not as mischievous as her sister.
Gwenna came down the stairs, saw the scene, and chuckled, “Where did my little darling get hurt? Let grandma take a look” So, the little girl deliberately limped towards Gwenna, with a cherry still puffing out her cheeks.
Her tiny hand pointed first to her leg, then to her foot, “Here, here.” She couldn’t even get her words out completely.
And then, the cherry in her mouth fell out and dropped onto the floor.
This scene made Gwenna burst out laughing.
The little girl looked at the cherry rolling on the ground, stunned, then turned to Sarah, pouting. “Mommy, my cherry fell”
Sarah had no choice but to hand her another one, “See, I told you not to lie. The cherry doesn’t want to be eaten by kids who
lie.”
The little girl immediately pulled her leg back, stood up straight, and holding the cherry, she looked at Gwenna and obediently said, “Grandma, my leg is all better now.”
This made everyone burst into laughter.
Samuel had just come in and immediately heard the laughter from inside the house.
Seeing her uncle return, the little girl spread her arms wide and ran towards him, enthusiastically exclaiming. “Uncle, hug!” Samuel bent down to scoop the little girl up into his arms. She nuzzled against his shoulder, “Uncle smells nice.”
He reached out and gently tapped the little girl’s forehead with his finger, “Don’t move around,”
But the little girl didn’t listen to him at all. She just had to fidget tugging at his tie and collar.
Sarah looked at Samuel, whose face was darkening, unable to hold back her laughter.
The cool–as–ice Samuel could only be managed by the little girl
Samuel stretched his legs towards the sofa. As soon as they sat down, Hoy, who had just been smiling, now had a serious look.

Hoy looked at Samuel and said coldly. “Finally remembered to come back?”
Samuel didn’t reply. Instead, he carried the little girl and walked towards the dining room.
Hoy was so furious that his chest felt like it was on fire, and the came in his hand creaked under the pressure of his grip..
Sarah then looked at Hoy and tried to calm him down, saying, “Dad, it’s rare for him to come home. Don’t make this gathering end in a fight.”
Hoy and Samuel seem destined to clash, every meeting inevitably leading to an argument.
The situation only worsened after Samuel married Isabella.
Hoy glared at Sarah and loudly pointed towards the dining room. “With a son like him, it’s hard not to argue. At his age, he should have already settled down!”
He completely ignored Isabella’s existence.
Sarah frowned at Hoy and said, “Dad, where does that leave Bella in all of this?”
Samuel was clearly married, yet Hoy refused to recognize Isabella’s status.
Sarah used to share the same viewpoint on this.
But now her opinion of Isabella has completely changed; she realized that Isabella is more than suitable for their family.
Hoy’s anger was barely contained as he looked at Sarah. “She’s fit for the Howerton family? Qualified to be Samuel’s wife? Samuel is going to take over the Howerton enterprise and his wife needs to be able to support him in that.”
Clearly, Sarah didn’t agree before, but now her perspective on Isabella has changed.
Hoy was even more displeased with Isabella, unsure of what kind of spell had ensnared them.
