Yasser nodded and didn’t refuse.
Isabella crouched by Yasser’s bedside to carefully check his pulse
She furrowed her brows slightly, noticing the weakness in his puke.
Yasser’s body was experiencing the side effects of years of heavy medication.
If this went on, he might not have much time left.
Isabella’s reaction didn’t go unnoticed by Yasser. Instead, he chuckled lightly and said calmly, “I have a short time left. Just being able to ease my pain is the greatest fortune for me now.”
Zermatt immediately stepped forward, interrupting Yasser, “MrZichri, what are you talking about? With the amazing Dr. Lovent here, you’ll surely live to an old age.”
Over the years, he had always stayed by Yasser’s side.

Isabella instinctively glanced toward the door and saw a man in a military uniform walking toward her, his upright posture exuding an aura of righteousness and determination.
He had sharp eyebrows, deep–set eyes, and a strong nose. His lips pressed together in concern.
Felix walked quickly, slightly out of breath, suggesting he had hurried to get there.
He quickly reached the bedside, and even before he could speak, Yasser instructed. “Felix, drive Ms. Stout back home.”
Felix swallowed his concerns, glancing instinctively at Isabella
The girl in front of him wore a cream–colored long dress that highlighted her tall figure. Her long hair was simply tied at the back. Her eyes were clear, with long lashes under her beautiful eyebrows.

Isabella walked straight towards the exit.

Felix looked at Yasser with concern and asked, “Grandfather, are you really okay?”
As soon as he heard something had happened, he hurried back quickly.
Yasser glared at him, irritated, and said, “I’m fine. Now go and see her off.”
Yasser thought. This hopeless kid was so captivated by the girl that he couldn’t take his eyes off her. Yet he wasn’t making the most of the chance!
Once Felix confirmed his grandfather was indeed fine, he quickly set the tissue box down and ran after her.
Seeing him rush out like that. Yasser couldn’t help but curl his lips into a slight smile.
Zermatt appeared somewhat worried, looking at Yasser with concern, and said, “Mr. Zichri, it seems that Dr. Lovett is close to that young man from the Howerton family.”
Though they didn’t declare it, it seemed that they probably were a couple.
Yasser leaned against the headboard and said casually, ‘It doesn’t matter as they are not even married yet. Getting a good girl is all about having the right skills.”

In the garden in front of the living room, Samuel and the others heard Felix quickly approaching from behind just as they reached the door. “Excuse me,” said Felix. They paused and turned around to look back.
Felix looked at Isabella first, then turned to Samuel and the others, politely saying, “Mr. Howerton, let me see you out”
