Isabella glanced down at the caller ID, and the smile in her eyes deepened.
It was Luna’s c
‘s call.
When the call connected, an excited voice came through. “Isabella, come out for drinks tonight. I’ve set up a get–together and invited some of our old friends”
Even over the phone, Isabella could hear the joy in Luna’s voice. “You got everything settled so quickly?”
Isabella was about to refuse, but a message popped on her phone.
Samuel: [Got a plan tonight, and I’ll come home late.]
Isabella’s hand cupping her cell phone paused. If Samuel wasn’t coming home, there wasn’t much point in going back alone.
It had been a long time since Isabella had caught up with Luna.
“Yeah, it’s been ages since we last met. Cut the small talk and come out already.”
Finally, Isabella said with a smile, “Sure, send me the address.”
Luna giggled and said, I’ve got a surprise for you, and you’ll love it”
Isabella’s lips twitched and didn’t know what Luna was up to but replied with a light laugh, “Stop it. Just don’t scare me.”
Isabella wouldn’t be surprised by anything earth–shattering Luna might pull off.
Luna laughed and jokingly cursed before hanging up.
Isabella put down her phone and glanced at George, signaling with her eyes. “You can get out of the car now.”
George slapped his thigh and jumped up in surprise. “Come on. You’re ditching me now that you’ve gotten what you wanted.” George thought, ‘Isabella, you’ve gone too far. I’m furious!

Isabella was already used to George’s dramatic ways and chuckled softly. “How about you go with me for some fun?”
But George quickly shook his head and refused. “No, I’ve got other plans. Stay safe out there.”
As George reminded Isabella, he opened the car door and got out.
Bang!
The car door shut, and George waved at Isabella and said, “Have fun!”
George turned back to his car, started it, and sped away.
Only then did Isabella slowly start her car, heading towards the place where she had arranged to meet with Luna.
At the Night Charm Bar, Isabella stepped inside and immediately met with deafening music, making her frown slightly in discomfort.
The dance floor was filled with people, swaying freely and letting loose.
Isabella took a quick look and then headed upstairs to Luna’s private room.
Isabella pushed the door open to see several people in the private room. A few of them looked up at Isabella as she entered.
With just a glance, Isabella noticed Jayden sitting in the corner. Her joy immediately disappeared.

At that moment, Luna, wearing a short and sexy dress, noticed Isabella’s arrival and waved her over. “Isabella, come here.” Jayden, who had been drinking, looked up. His deep eyes turned cold when he saw it was Isabella approaching. Jayden thought Isabella had Luna set up the party, going to great lengths to make her presence in front of him. Everyone else’s attention turned to Isabella, and they greeted her warmly. “Bella, long time no see.”
“That’s right. Bella, you’re looking more beautiful than ever.”
Isabella had a warm smile as she politely greeted everyone.
As Isabella walked over, ready to sit to the left of Luna, suddenly Luna quickly pulled Isabella to sit on her right instead. The smile on Isabella’s lips froze instantly because Isabella was sitting near Jayden.
Luna didn’t know about what happened between Isabella and Jayden.
Luna leaned close to Isabella’s ear with a mischievous grin. “So, how’s this for a surprise?”
Isabella couldn’t help but twitch her brow and said through gritted teeth, “Very surprising.”
Before coming, Isabella hoped it wouldn’t be a shock, and now it was just as expected.
Luna tilted her chin smugly and said, “I’ve been planning about it all along”
Luna poured Isabella a drink, placed it on her, and winked suggestively. “Here, take advantage of the buzz to do what you want.” Luna’s suggestion was clear.
Isabella was speechless.
Isabella had no idea how to deal with the situation.
Isabella didn’t want to talk with Jayden, yet Luna planned this party.
Isabella took the drink that Luna handed her. Just as Isabella was about to speak, the door to the private room suddenly opened.
Ivana in a white dress appeared at the doorway, her face adorned with a gentle smile. Her delicate face was enhanced with perfect makeup, making her look graceful and charming.
Luna’s expression was gloomy instantly. “Why did this slut Ivana get here?”
Luna slammed the glass she was holding onto the table.
Today was a party organized by Luna, but Ivana was here making Luna unhappy.
Afraid Isabella might get the wrong idea, Luna turned to her and explained, “Isabella, I don’t expect Ivana to be so shameless to show up without an invitation. I don’t ask Ivana to come.”
Isabella smirked and reached out to squeeze Luna’s arm reassuringly. “It’s alright.”
Isabella knew exactly her best friend Luna.
Their conversation in the room filled with booming music went unnoticed by others.
Ivana entered and saw Isabella sitting upright on the couch, and she was slightly surprised.

Ivana stepped forward, wanting to sit right next to Jayden. But there was no empty seat on Jayden’s right, and on his left was that Isabella.
Feeling resentful, Ivana had no choice but to find another spot to sit.
Ivana kept a watchful eye on what was happening around Jayden, worried that Isabella might get too attached to Jayden.
A woman in a pink dress standing next to Ivana smiled politely and said, “Ivana, it’s been a long time!”
It was a small circle, where many people know each other.
Ivana’s attention was brought back as she responded with a gentle smile. “Jill, long time no see. You’re even prettier than the last time we met.”
The group exchanged some friendly greetings
Someone had already turned their gaze to Isabella and Jayden.
The two of them sitting together seemed like a perfect match
Suddenly, the girl named Jill looked directly at Isabella and playfully asked with a smile, “Bella, are you and Jayden getting married soon?”
Everyone’s gazes were on Isabella and Jayden, filled with curiosity.
