After hearing her words, Caleb’s expression softened.
“You called me back from abroad to show Kieran still has feelings for you. Look, he’s broken off his engagement. Can’t you be at ease?” Caleb said.
“Thanks to you, but I still feel…” Eloise was unsettled, unable to pinpoint her discomfort. Perhaps it was a woman’s intuition. She felt Kieran’s attitude toward her had changed.
“Ellie, you can’t be too greedy. You should know Kieran will never marry you,” Caleb bluntly said.

With a nervous chuckle, the principal explained, “Jarrett, there was a dispute today between Ms. Dawson and Ms. Harwood. Ms. Harwood wanted strict action to give an account to the injured student, but Ms. Dawson claimed she got framed. With graduation exams around the corner, what do you think?”
Jarrett glanced at Kieran, who was in the middle of an urgent meeting. Finally, he calmly responded, “Mr. Sutton and Ms. Dawson have ended their engagement. As for the school matters, Principal, please handle it as you see fit. Just one thing. Ensure Ms. Harwood doesn’t get wronged.”
“Sure, got it,” the principal quickly assured before hanging up.
It seemed Kieran had moved on from Freya. In that case, the principal thought he should ensure Eloise was treated with the utmost respect, signaling his goodwill.
