“Are you going or not?” Kieran’s tone was laced with impatience.
Left with no choice, Jarrett went upstairs. Standing at Freya’s door, he knocked and said, “Ms. Dawson, Mr. Sutton requests your presence downstairs”
The silence was the only response from the room. Jarrett frowned and called out again, “Ms. Dawson?”
Still, no reply came from the room.
With a sigh, Jarrett muttered, “Ms. Dawson, my apologies for the intrusion”
Saying so, he pushed the door open. The room was in pristine order, but Freya was gone.
Seeing it, Jarrett raced downstairs, his face as white as a sheet, and blurted out, “Mr. Sutton, she’s… she’s gone!”
What? Kieran’s expression turned grim as he headed towards the second floor.
Indeed, Freya’s room was empty.
As Jarrett ventured, Kieran’s expression darkened further, “Mr. Sutton… could Ms. Dawson have run away?”
Kieran snapped, “Isn’t that obvious? Now, call Freya!”
“Yes, sir…” Jarrett quickly pulled out his phone and dialed Freya’s number. But the phone call wouldn’t go through
“Mr. Sutton… I can’t reach Ms. Dawson.”
With a face as dark as thunder, Kieran finally laughed cynically, “Well played, Freya! She couldn’t care less about her family anymore!” Just then, Jarrett glanced at his phone, catching sight of a breaking news notification, his face turning ashen. “Mr. Sutton! Look at this The news on the phone screen announced a partnership between the Dawson Group and the Beckett Group, mentioning Ronan’s investment of two billion in the Dawson Group.

“Out of my sight!” Kieran’s face was stormy.
So, Freya had secured her escape route!
Thinking she’d be safe from him by teaming up with the Beckett Group? Dream on!
A cold voice broke the silence, “Send someone to find her I want to see how far Freya thinks she can run!”
“Yes, Mr. Sutton.”
Meanwhile, at Summit University, Luna was utterly shocked at what Freya had told her. “No way! You just breezed out of there?”
Freya smiled. “What choice did I have? Stick around and play maid for Kieron?”

“What’s there to be scared of? It’s not like he’ll chase me down to school. Trust me. Kieran’s not that invested in me, nor is he that petty” No sooner had Freya finished her sentence than six black limousines pulled up at the school’s entrance. Soon, a group of bodyguards emerged from the vehicles.
