“We will play a game where both of you are given a set of words which you have to explain without using restricted words in your speech, which I will tell you later, secretly The male butler, Jacob, said as we stood on the stage.
I felt that I needed to undergo some sessions where I needed to seriously teach myself not to move this muscular organ in my mouth a lot because I was regretting some of the things I dicat the last minute a lot now that we were on the stage as the first participants.
“There will be a time limit of two minutes per word. And if you use the restricted word in between the game, you will automatically lose that round.
Each of you will be given three words and a special condition for the last word. Now, who will go first?” The female presenter, Ellie said and without wasting a second, Damian charmed her as he volunteered.
“I would like to go first. His voice rippled the veins connected to my heart, spreading an echo throughout my whole body.
“Amazing, then here are your words” She clapped her hands excitedly as they got busy amongst themselves while Jacob kept
company.

“As for the beautiful lady, let us go on a walk together” Jacob took me to the lake area they had created so I wouldn’t hear what they discussing before I was called again
“The event, A date with your mate, begins.” Ellie said, striking a gong.
My heart was racing when the game started as I waited for Dartian’s first hint.
“The most powerful female” He told me the first clue and I rotated the wheels of my brain immediately.
“Luna!” I said quickly but he shook his head.
“She is divine”
I rolled his words in my head before my brain lit up with the most possible answer.
“Selene!”
“Correct!” Damian said and I rejoiced.
“Bingo, our dynamic couple has guessed their first word within their time limit Jacob announced and the crowd cheered.
“The restricted words for this round were, Werewolves, goddess Born Ellie said and that’s why it makes sense that he didn’t give the reference of the legend.
It was now time for the second word
“Someone proposed to someone” Damian gave the first hint for his second word and I furrowed my brows.
Someone proposed to someone, what does it mean?

He shook his head before he gave another hint.
“What happens in the relationship? Uh–Oh, what kind of a 3 marker question is that?
The game was getting a little tough because Damian wasn’t supposed to give clear hints as well. So, his talking in a roundabout manner was not helping at all.
“Many things! Love, bonding, fun, fights, spending time together I quickly listed some of the things together I could figure out but he shook his head mouthing no when he suddenly widened his eyes, creating an unsaid pressure to repeat my words again.
Ah okay, but didn’t he say no before?
“Fun, bonding, spending time toget–”
“This one, how do they do that?” He interrupted me in between, pointing that out and I malfunctioned, going back to when I was a baby, having difficulty forming words.

“By being together, ah, by going on dates and-”
“Exactly, you are close!” Damian suddenly exclaimed and I stopped.
I am close…I mulled on my words before I picked the most sensible one.
“Dates?”
“Make it more special” He said encouragingly and I quickly answered, confidently.
“First date!”
“Bam, that’s second to go. They made it barely on time. Phew, alright that’s the last word from Cole for Ruby! They need at least four points, summed together to pass this round” Jacob commented and everyone had brought their snacks to watch the rest of the game.
“The restricted words for this round were, any guesses? Many responses started coming from the crowd when Ellie asked before she revealed them.
“The words were, romantic, couple and the event!”
Wow, they use tough words every time. The game just started getting interesting.
I was ready for the third word but Damian didn’t look as enthusiastic as before. Was it a difficult word?
“It’s a natural thing” he said and that was the vaguest sentence he could ever say.
“Shifting?” I asked but he shook his head.
“It’s like a gamble”

What is he talking about? Gamble, lies and a natural thing?

“Marriage?” I said meekly and suddenly someone ended up laughing from the crowd before his wife shushed him jab in his belly.
“You are getting closer” he looked distressed as he tried to come up with more words.
“Be fast, Ruby and Cole, the time is ticking” Jacob said and Damian gave me his next hint.
“What comes before marriage?” he asked and I looked at him confused.
“Relationship? Dating” I said and he shook his head.
Then what is it? Only fifty seconds were left and we weren’t able to guess the word.

“Stay in packs and protect each other!” I spoke like a trained warrior and Damian rubbed his forehead telling me it was a ‘no‘ with his gesture.
What else?” He asked and I quickly tried to think of other important things but nothing of them sounded like a gamble and a lie and marriage!
Protecting your pack mates can be a gamble if they end up betraying you and shifting although rare can turn out to be a lie too if you are not able to connect with your wolf, ending up feral but what else is there?
Marriage is not an answer, dating is not the answer. So?
“Ruby, Cole, quick! You don’t have much time left!” Ellie yelled and Damian suddenly dropped another hint. However, the time was slipping out of our hands like sand.
