Chapter 35
Chapter 35
Liliana
‘Oh really, lily? Just look up a little and you will know‘
‘What are you even saying Syl, you must have lost your mind after the ambus–‘
Oh good lord, why did I look up!? And why is my tail swaying gently!?
‘Syl stop it!!‘
Why, did you not like his hard–toned thighs and that size? There’s something about the beauty of a well–shaped human body, isn’t there?‘
I immediately blocked her out of my mind and stopped processing whatever she just spouted in my head.
I absolutely do not agree with what she said, no toned thighs, no s–size–
“Did you not hear me, Liliana, shift” his angry roar shook me and I glared at him, refusing to obey.
He stared back at me with a cold hard face, equally furious with a clenched jaw before he twisted his lips in a not–so–heart- fluttering smirk, “Fine, then, I can just make you obey”
He took a step forward, closer to me and I stepped back confused and slightly anxious about what he was trying to do. Despite a fierce urge to run and escape the man who had just saved me, I stood there, at a seemingly safe distance which he was trying to cover anyway, because who knows how many more wolves would be out there to attack me yet again.
Also, it didn’t make sense to run away from him when, in the first place, I had wished for him to be here, and secondly, he had saved me.
But then why were all the alarms in my head blaring as if I was about to face even bigger danger than seconds ago?
Goddess, what is he trying to do? I winced and shut my eyes when Damian raised his arm, reaching out for me. The wound on my shoulder started to tingle and I didn’t wait for what was about to happen when suddenly I felt someone patting my back and scratching under my ears as if I was a dog.
What the hell is he doing!?
I looked up at him, feeling incredulous at what he was doing but he didn’t flinch at all. He continued scratching my chin, patting my sides and smoothening my fur.
What, just what is he doing!?
My heart was slowly turning into a booming music speaker and my tail without my permission was swaying back and forth as if it was enjoying every little action of Damian.
Sylvia might be having a blast but it’s like hell for me. It’s embarrassing and mortifyingly shameful to the point that I was about to bare my fangs and bite his hand when he suddenly leaned in closer to my face and pecked me on my cheek.
My fur heated up when he blew his hot breath and imprinted it with his lips, sending me into a flurry of utter inactivity.
I had a whole storm of emotions shaking me up from inside but I stood there rooted without any movement because of the sudden kiss until the spell broke and I was ready to thrash against his arms when he suddenly whispered the command in,

my ears once again in an alpha tone.
“Shift!”

Like a cloud of magical smoke, I shifted back to my human form after the snapping and cracking of my bones, naked and into his arms with my chest crushed against his hard slates for a chest.
“It wasn’t hard. Am I right Liliana?” He asked, the words and the tone were both unfriendly.
didn’t answer and tried to get out of his embrace and that stubborn mass of a muscle for an arm around my waist but he didn’t let me and held me even tighter.
“What were you doing out here alone? And don’t even think, you would get away without an answer, Liliana‘ He seethed and I stopped trying to get out of his hold.
I moved my neck to face him, feeling his anger helping to channel mine outside and right to the tip of my tongue.
“I was here for a run.” I gave a clipped answer and he looked pissed.
“Out here for a run with these rogues? Was it fun? Liliana, hmm? It certainly didn’t look like that to me but who knows, you might enjoy things which aren’t heard and seen of
“I wasn’t out here with them. They came out of the blue and ambushed me just like the last incident!” I snapped back and his fingers dug into my arm he was holding and his tone became sharper.
“Despite the last incident, you went out in this goddamn place no one knows, far away from the mansion, alone? Are you in some sort of phase Liliana? Perhaps adventure?”
“What have you been talking about since earlier? Should I stay locked up in the mansion then? I can’t go anywhere? It’s just the woods behind our damned mansion, Damian!”
“Did I ask you to lock yourself in the mansion? Oh, but isn’t that a nice suggestion?” his tone slanted darkly and the vein in his forehead bulged when he served me his raw anger, “I believe you need to be locked up considering what you did today
“Stop it Damian! You can’t do that! I simply went for a run. I didn’t know…I didn’t know I would be attacked like this and I was doing my best to lose them” I felt like crying and it was the worst that my voice broke at the end as if I was choked up and ready to be a wailing mess.
“You are the Luna of the BloodClaw pack and there’s no place you can’t go to but not alone, Liliana. Is it my illusion or did his voice really become softer?
I looked up surprised, gladly not through glassy irises and although his face was still an image of a firm and stern Damian, his eyes were a little less colder than before
“You are the wife of Damian Edwards, the alpha of the blood claw pack and I have more enemies than the stars in the sky. You need to etch this in your head and stop being immature.
You can’t run off wherever and whenever you like, start acting like a Luna now.” He continued in a cold serene voice, completely opposite of the hot searing anger boiling inside me, lit up by him.
