“Start acting like a luna?” I quoted his words with pure rage and disbelief. “Who stopped me from acting like a Luna just a few hours ago? When I suggested something for the betterment of the pack?” I asked and his lips thinned in an angry line.
“That is different, Liliana. I will repeat it, that’s not what you should be concerned about”
“Then what should I be concerned about? Ah, I know, dressing up and accompanying you wherever you want me to like a doll because that’s how a namesake Luna should act no?”
“Liliana! Don’t test my patience!” he seethed, but my head was too busy to think at that moment.
“Say, Damian, Namesake Lunas aren’t that important in the first place so even if I go alone or go together with dozens of your men, it doesn’t matter.
So you shouldn’t worry about how I conduct myself since I don’t have the real authority” I spat and his face scrunched up with anger.
“Who wanted me to worry about themselves by howling in the middle of this desolate forest so desperately? It was you, Liliana” He said and I couldn’t say anything in return.
It was true, I howled for him because I was in danger but the catch here is that I got myself in danger because of him in the first place. So, shouldn’t he be responsible?
“I didn’t know you liked to contradict yourself along with being disobedient. I clearly remember telling you not to go running in these woods the other day and yet you had to do the very thing I denied you to do”
“I do not contradict myself, Damian and I howled for you because you were responsible for putting me into this situation. The reason why I ran here alone was because of you! I jabbed him in the chest with my finger and he frowned harshly.
“You ran out of the mansion because of me?” He asked with disbelief and I felt my anger explode more violently than before.
“Yes, you because you don’t have enough heart and brain to understand what I was saying earlier in your office. You just know how to hurt and scald someone with your words!” I yelled and he clenched his jaw.
“How many times are you going to bring that useless conversation up? Are you that ticked off by some words I told you? The truth? It’s almost cute that you still believe me to be some sweet type of man instead of what I truly am” He bit every word as if he were chewing it in his mouth, putting extreme care in pissing me off and hate him when he said them out loud.
“I do not take you as some sweet type of man. In fact, I don’t hold any expectations for you because you are far from my ideal type. However, I still thought of you as a good strategic alpha but guess what I am absolutely wrong!” I fought back and he smirked.
Smirked with lethal danger on his lips.
“It’s so sad to know that I am not your ideal type while you still clench around my cock so tight as if I am the only man in the world who can give you what you want, almost every night”
Heat exploded on my cheek mixed with shame and fury at his words.

His lips twisted in an amused grin and he pulled me closer until our breaths were coating each other in hot whingers

Should I check and confirm for myself whether our sex is not good enough or you are just lying for more rounds every night?” He whispered sinisterly and his hand wrapped around my back and inched tower, moving towards my hips when suddenly the honking sound of a car helped me jerk him away
“Lama!” Julia’s voice broke me out of his bold and I saw three black cars on a standby Julia and Anna were running out from one of them along with Hudson with an overcoat and shawl in their hands.

It was boring and deeply observant which was extremely uncomfortable.
“It’s a small wound. It will get healed by itself, don’t worry” I quickly say, pulling the coat around myself before Julia did it properly after breaking out of her worry,
“You will still need to see a doctor, Luna. It’s not a small wound” She insisted and I nodded, sighing while Anna draped the shawl around my shoulders.
I saw Damian wearing just an overcoat and denying the shawl from the corner of my eye while he talked with Hudson. They must be talking about the attack.
I averted my gaze and walked to one of the cars with Julia and Anna who were constantly fussing over me. Anna took the front seat while Julia and I sat in the back waiting for someone to drive us back to the mansion.
I was exhausted and wanted to lie in my bed after a quick hot calming bath. Now, that my anger has cooled down, the scenes from the attack just now were bothering me.
