The next day, I went to the courthouse just as Darren told me to. However, he wasn’t there. Instead, he sent Robert in his stead. I simply dipped my head and tried to suppress my smile.
A few minutes later, I came out of the courthouse with Robert. I looked very sad and upset. Robert, on the other hand, took his copy of the divorce certificate and looked at me disdainfully before leaving.
Two weeks later, Darren and Eunice finally wrap up the filming for their upcoming movie together. At
the end of the filming, Darren got down on one knee and proposed to Eunice.
Twitter was then flooded with the fans‘ best wish
for the couple. Darren and Eunice were also happily thanking all the fans online who wished them by rewarding them with gift vouchers.
A week later, Darren and Eunice did a live broadcast to pick a dozen lucky fans to attend their grand wedding.
Videos of the media interviewing the couple were posted online. Both Darren and Eunice told everyone that they would be registering their marriage in two days, and the fans were all ecstatic.
The fans brought me up again and painted me as the villain who deserved my fate. There were plenty of comments that tagged me on the video.
“See? You won’t get what you want. This is what you deserve for being a leech!”
“Finally, they’re getting married! I’m so happy for them! By the way, I hope that shameless woman is
watching! People like you deserve to die ale
“I love it when two strong people join forces in marriage! As for delusional romantics… they’ll get what >they deserve!”
In the blink of an eye, the day they planned to register for their marriage had arrived. Darren and Eunice even invited the media to live stream the event.
In the live stream, Eunice wore a pristine white gown and looked like the epitome of happiness. Meanwhile, Darren was wearing a smart tailored suit as he stood next to her. They looked like they were made for each other.
More and more fans were watching the live stream video online. However, the smiles on both Darren’s and Eunice’s faces soon disappeared.
The marriage bureau staff was exclaiming in anger at Darren.
“What’s with this guy’s history? You haven’t finished the divorce procedures. Are you trying to get arrested for bigamy?”
“What are you talking about? I am clearly single!” Darren roared in disbelief. He was so worked up that he even accidentally spat in the staff’s face.
“You’re the one who’s out of your mind! How could you marry a mistress when you’re already married to someone else?” the staff retorted while wiping off Darren’s saliva from his face in disgust. He had purposely worded his sentence that way to strike Darren where it hurt the most.

Eunice had only just snapped back to her senses. In horror, she immediately yelled at the staff in charge of the live stream.
“Damn it, turn off the live stream right now! You idiots! Hurry up and shut down the live stream!”
Darren also just seemed to realize that the cameras were still on him. He quickly covered the camera lenses with his hands, but it was too late. The live stream was already overflowing with fans commenting in complete disbelief.
