At the same time, Darren and Eunice were still struggling to clear their names on Twitter and accusing me of defaming them.

A while after that, news of many major brands canceling their contracts with both Darren and Eunice was announced. In the blink of an eye, Darren and Eunice lost more than half of their fanbase. Even their official fan clubs shut down.
The online community flocked over to me to take my side now. I could see plenty of apologies from the very same people who had cursed at me and called me all sorts of names in the past.
“I’m so sorry, I’ve been blind! I never thought Darren and Eunice were such shameless people!”
“Oh my god, I feel so sorry for you! I knew all along that they weren’t good people!”
“Hugs! That bastard deserved this! I can’t imagine how much cyberbullying you went through because of them!”
“Even the malicious commenters who spread lies about me and received my lawyer’s letter came to apologize, asking to be spared.
However, I was no saint. The keyboard warriors should have seen it coming from the moment they opened their big mouths.
Darren knew that he was a gone case. Seeing that nothing he did could save himself, he finally posted online and said, “Dear, I’m sorry! I had been led astray! It was all Eunice’s fault, she was the one who seduced me first!
“I never should have let you down. I love you!”
Meanwhile, Eunice’s company also made a statement on Twitter. It said that Eunice had been strung along by Darren all this while, and never knew that he was already married before this.
Their posts garnered tons of traction and made it to the top trending topics again. However, this time, all of the comments beneath their posts were targeted back at themselves.
“Oh my god, I finally know what kind of people they are! Darren’s such a playboy!”
“Ah, rich people problems. Or, should I say, rich playboy problems? I guess I’ll never understand them.”
“This is massive. I never thought the couple I liked the most were such fake people. This is over! I’m out! I’m not liking anybody anymore!”
“This is terrific! Go on. Continue throwing your lover under the bus!”
