To her surprise, Charlotte glanced at the necklace and then said with a boastful tone.
“Oh, it’s just a bonus gift from the necklace Matthew bought me. Never mind, he’s already given me plenty; you can keep this one, sister.”
Daphne’s eyes turned icy as she glared at Matthew.

She changed her tone, “Daphne, Matthew and I are going to try on wedding dresses today. Would you join us?”
