Chapter 43
CAESAR
My wolf is heated, fired and ready to pounce. I let the bloody knife fall from my fingers and clatter to the black marble floors below, spreading crimson across the tiles.
My muscles are already cramping in anticipation as I take a step closer to my captive.
“First of all, what’s your name?”
“Sam” He whispers with a voice laced with pain, his wolf whimpering.
There’s a ninety eight percent chance that he just gave me a fake name, but I’m too impatient to push.
“Alright, Sam. How did you gain entrance into the Marabella Estate without an invitation? How did a piece of material from my wife’s wedding dress find its way into your car? Who are you working for?”
There’s a tense, chokingwilence in the room for a moment, then Sam lifts his head and holds my gaze?
“I’m not responsible for anything that happened. I was just hired to drive the escape car. I work for my boss and his name is Alistair Blackwell.
I freeze, not sure I’ve heard right..
What did you say?”
Sam inhales sharply: “my boss‘ name is Alistair Blackwell. I was hired to drive his escape car
Alistair Blackwell, the Supreme Alpha of BlueRivers Pack. Amaya’s ex–husband.
My fingers curl into fists as I stand there, literally trembling with rage. My wolf is already perked up, apparently intrigued by the new piece of information.
That cowardly bastard.” I mutter through gritted teeth. “That castrated Nincompoop. How dare heir”
I feel a presence behind me and Solomon comes to stand by my side.
“What are we going to do now? Alistair is the Supreme Alpha. A direct attack on him would mean war for us.”
I turn to the trolley of knives, my veins pounding with rage;
“Oh, I will not start a war. I’ll just pay our darling Supreme Alpha a little visit.”
THE NEXT DAY.
Alistair is out of town so unfortunately, I have to wait twenty four hours to exact my revenge.
Thankfully, my cyber guys have been monitoring his private jet. The moment he touches down in New York, Solomon and I pay him a much needed courtesy visit.
Last night, I’d feared my anger would cool down if I didn’t get my hands on Alistair immediately, but that same anger kept me up all night. I couldn’t sleep, so after boxing at the gym for a while, I went to the hospital and stayed with my daughter
till dawn.
Michaela has been unresponsive to new treatment for two days now and the entire situation is really starting to take…ull on
Chapter 43
- me.
Alistair’s bodyguards are too easy to take down. One snap of my fingers and they’re crumpling to the ground like folded. pieces of paper.
My pulse thumps wildly against the base of my throat as we come to a stop in front of his home study. He’s behind that door. I can feel it.
On the count of three, Solomon kicks the door open and we barge inside.
My eyes instantly zeros in on Alistair and my lips twist with disgust as I take in the scene before me. He has a woman i recognise as Zara pinned to his table, ass in the air, while he thrus into her from behind like a mad man.
The moment he sees us, Alistair’s face goes slack with shock and he withdraws from Zara with a wet, sloppy sound.
Zara, on the other hand, has streaks of tears on both her cheeks, fer face colours with shame as she struggles to tug her skirt below her pregnant belly.
It’s obvious from her expression that she didn’t enjoy the sexual workout one bit.
“What’s going on?” Alistair growls, “What are you both doing here?”
I’m afraid that I might lunge across the room and tear my knife through his heart, if he has one, so I pull out a chair and make myself comfortable.
“I see you’re in the business of sexual assault.” I mutter calmly. “First my wife, now your own pregnant fiancée. Did Zara give Her consent for the sexual marathon I just witnessed? My voice drips with sarcasm. Exactly how I want it.
Alistair’s face reddens with anger.
he gave consent. The whore even begged for it.
“Of course she gave
Turning to Zara, I note the slight tremble of her shoulders. It’s as clear as a neon sign that no consent whatsoever was given,
“And yesterday?” Solomon asks softly, casually retrieving his knife from his pocket and cleaning it with a sparkling white handkerchief. “Did Mrs. Amaya give her consent?
Alistair’s eyes widen with a mixture of shock and horror, and that’s all the confirmation I need.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about. Leave my house right now. How did you even get in here?”
My anger is burning white hot at the moment. It’s a miracle that haven’t exploded yet. My wolf is hungry for blood.
“I told you the last time I was here that you needed to hire more competent bodyguards, Supreme Alpha. Not that they can protect you from my wrath, of course.”
“What have you done?” Alistair growls, having the audacity to look angry.
That does it. My rage finally swells to the surface. I get to my feet and stalk towards him my teeth bared in a viscious snarl. Alistair’s wolf is close to the surface, I can smell it. But that’s not problem because I’m ready to slash claws, too
“Shouldn’t that be my line? You had the audacity to walk into my wedding and try to rape my wife. A wife I just married. I need you to understand that the fact that you’re the Supreme Alpha of this pack is the only reason you still draw breath right now.”
A gasp
op of absolute horror comes from my sharp left. Zara clasps her left palm across her mouth, her eyes wide with shock.
Alistair, on the other hand, looks like he just swallowed a toad. Suddenly, he snaps;
Chapter 43
“Lies! I admit that I was at your wedding yesterday, but Zara and came home back together the moment your crazy ex–wife showed up. Right, Zara?”
I notice the ferocious gleam in his eyes as he turns to Zara for support. To my utmost disappointment, the lowers her hand from her mouth and says boldly,
“Yes, he was with me throughout yesterday. Your accusations are false. Amaya is probably lying for attention.”
My veins turn icy with annoyance as 1 level Zara with a stare thanakes her flinch. “Say her name again, I bloody dare you.” I snarl. “You’re a disgrace to womanhood, Zara, you know that? Women like you are the reason sexual assault victims are still not being taken seriously.”
Solomon steps forward and grabs her arm. “I believe you no longer have any business here, Miss Zara, We have a job to do and it’s time for you to leave.”
He starts pulling her towards the door and Alistair charges forward, his eyes almost bugging from its sockets.
“What the hell are you doing? Let her gol
I point my knife in his direction and he freezes in his tracks, staring at me with contempt.
“You dare alma knife at your Supreme Alpha? That’s the ultimate disrespect!”
My lips curl with rage; “You’re only entitled to the exact level of respect that you showed my wife in that dressing suite yesterday… and I promise you’ll love it”
Nooo!! Let go of me!!” Zara screams as Solomon pulls her out of the room. “Amaya is a lying bitch! Don’t believe a word she says. I know she’s just lying for attention!!”
When she’s gone and Solomon returns and shuts the door, we finally begin with the business of the day.
Solomon and I brandish our weapons, making it very clear to Alistair that we’re not here for games and jokes.
He takes a step back, eying us suspiciously. Suddenly, he hurries to his desk, grabs his telephone and punches away at the buttons. I watch with barely suppressed anger as he waits and waits with the phone pressed against his car. There’s no response, just like I planned it.
“What you’re doing is a total waste of time. Solomon informs him quietly. “You will not have any form of signal whatsoever in this room for the next forty eight hours. And even if you do, there’s no guard on ground to save you”
1 step closer to Alistair and his eyes widen in horror; “I am your Supreme Alpha, and I order you to stand back!”
I almost scoff. “I will only ask you once. Did you try to rape my wife or not?”
He doesn’t even hesitate; “of course I didn’t. Zara is right. That bitch is probably lying for attention.”
A dangerous smile curves my lips and I nod. Alistair Blackwell has decided to play with fire.
I give Solomon my signal. Within seconds, working in unison, we have the bastard seated on and pinned to one of the Egyptian chairs, completely at our mercy.
Solomon holds both his hands captive at a very uncomfortable position behind the chair, while I hover over him with my knife pressed against his throat.
Alistair is shocked. His mouth falls open and he keeps looking around in confusion. Bastard.
my wife a bitch. You’ll be sorry for that.”
“You called my
Without hesitation, I slice my knife across his throat, just at the surface, and beads of blood roll down his neck

At this point, Alistair is absolutely terrified. I keep reminding myself that the only reason this weakling is our Supreme Alpha is because he’s the only male child of our Queen Luna. Otherwise…
“You stabbed me!” He screams. “How dare you do this? You fucking stabbed mell”
I press my knife harder against his throat and he goes very silencfter that.
“I didn’t stab you yet, but I swear on the goddess, if you don’t tell the truth, my knife is a few seconds away from slipping into your throat.”
I hold his stare with my hard, blazing one to show that I’m not playing around.
Finally, after only five seconds of hesitation, the weakling gives i
“Fine! I did it. But I didn’t mean to…” he rushes to add, “I just went to the suite with the intention of talking her into coming back with me. She was the one who started seducing me and…”
I do not wait for him to finish that statement. I rear backwards and punch him on the face so hard, knocking him out cold.
My wolf howls with the seed to tear him apart and feed his useless body to the rogues.
I wish I could. I really wish I could.
Solomon releases Alistair’s bound hands and he falls forward to the floor lifelessly.
“What are we gonna do now? We most certainly cannot kill him. He’s the Supreme Alpha.”
I shut my eyes, suddenly feeling exhausted. Strangely, an image of Amaya flashes through my mind and my thundering heart eases a fraction.
“I don’t want to think about it right now.” I respond. “I want to take my wife on a long honeymoon and vacation. I’ll handle our moron of a Supreme Alpha when we return…‘
