Chapter 16 There Are So Many Outstanding Men in The World, What Does Antonio Matter?
After hanging up the phone, Grace had originally planned to go straight home, but to her surprise, as soon as she walked out the door, she saw a dazzling red sports car parked by the roadside, and Judy waved at her while wearing sunglasses.
“Oh my, my darling, now you don’t even bother to talk to your mother, have you grown wings?” Judy took off her
sunglasses, with a smile on her lips, but her eyes were filled with tenderness.
Grace smiled helplessly and said, “Mom, it’s over. I already explained it very clearly.”
She knew that Antonio, being such a proud person, would never bow down and look for her again. She had already severed this bond long ago.
Judy nodded and said softly, “Since it’s over, it’s a new beginning. Come on, I will take you out to relax!”
Judy drove with Grace straight to the bustling commercial district in the city center. Whenever Grace stopped to take a closer look at a certain product, Judy would not hesitate to swipe her card and buy it, as if trying to make up for Grace’s absence over the years by spending lavishly.
“If you like it, go for it. There’s no need to hesitate. If others. don’t give it to us, we’ll fight for it ourselves,” Judy said candidly, with a natural air of dominance.
After shopping, Judy suddenly blinked her eyes and revealed a mischievous smile, saying, “Next, I’ll take you to a fun place!

The car quickly stopped in front of a brightly lit building, and Grace looked up to see that it was the liveliest nightclub in town. She was taken aback for a moment, about to speak, but Judy had already smiled and pulled her inside.
“Life, you know, is full of hardships, but happiness is the most important. Today, let’s have some fun!” Judy called the waiter and ordered a whole set of deluxe meals, even inviting a few extraordinary gentlemen as companions.
“Grace, look, there are so many outstanding men in the world, what does one Antonio matter?” Judy held a glass of wine, and smiled slightly, “Mom has never been afraid of loving the wrong person, as long as she dares to start over, it’s never too late.”
Under Judy’s influence, Grace gradually relaxed. After a few drinks, she began to blend into the rhythm of the music, letting herself go on the dance floor. The past pain seemed to evaporate with the alcohol, leaving only dazzling lights and ear–piercing music to accompany her.
Judy, seeing this, smiled with relief, and after instructing the bodyguard to keep an eye on Grace, she left first.
Grace played until late at night, until the bar was about to close, and then walked out with the help of a bouncer. The night air was slightly cool, the starry sky was dazzling, and she sat on a bench by the roadside, closed her eyes, and rested, with a faint sound of the wind in her ears.
She was about to get up and go home when she accidentally stepped on a space and almost fell. The bodyguard behind her quickly caught her, but she caught a familiar scent of pine wood.

She lifted her head and came face to face with a familiar face.
“Grace, go home with me,” Antonio’s voice was low, his tone. suppressed with anger.
Two bodyguards immediately stood in front of Grace, their eyes alert.
Grace blinked her slightly tipsy eyes and lazily leaned against the bench, asking softly, “Mr. Kaufman, why are you here so late?”
Antonio stared at her, a hint of complexity flashing in his gaze. He had come to her house, full of anticipation, with a carefully prepared gift, only to be stopped at the door by her mother, who mercilessly threw the roses and gift box into the trash.
At that moment, his pride was ruthlessly trampled upon. However, even so, he was unwilling to give up and hurriedly came here after learning from his assistant that Grace was there.
But when he saw Grace’s drunken appearance, the anger in his heart was instantly ignited.
“Grace, is this how you treated our relationship?” His voice was cold, but it couldn’t hide the anger and disappointment in his tone.
Grace raised an eyebrow, her tone tinged with a hint of mockery. “Emotions? Antonio, I thought that thing had long gone.”
